12th July 2012 Chelmsford Beer Festival. Cloudy amber beer, little white head. Light semi dry palate. Fairly tart orange, tangy fruits and a little lemon. Semi dry finish. Not bad for a cask wheat.

Gravity at the Wellington, Birmingham. Cloudy amber no head. Tastes like boiled carrots, melted ice lolly and a smidge of wheat. Weird. Finishes better than it starts.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Leighton (7179) - London, ENGLAND - JUL 4, 2012
Cask at the brewpub, London. Pours lightly hazy, rich gold with a faint, white cream head. Big fruity nose with lime, citrus and cherry (yep!). Medium sweet flavor, lightly sugary with more sweet fruits, cherry, orange. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet, semi-sticky finish with more fruits, berries, cherries, ripe citrus. Interesting stuff, and quite enjoyable.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Beer3000 (3762) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 13, 2012
On cask @ the brewpub. Cloudy, dark orange body with a nice tan head. Aroma is mild raspberry with spices and fruity wheat yeast. Flavor is quite light but distinct fruity, raspberry, light malt, spices and yeast. Medium body. Rather unusually, not sour enough to be considered a fruit beer, not a wheat beer and not really spicy enough for a herbal/spicy ale. Something in the middle of all this. It actually works together with food as well.

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Hazy orangeish brown colour with a small white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, some wheat, mild sweet maltyness as well as some caramel. Flavour is quite bitter tropical fruits with mild wood and some slight wheaty and tart notes as well.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 imdownthepub (8547) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 13, 2012
Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’12. Cloudy brownish amber with no head. This is one that split the jury somewhat. It has a sweet but tartly strong raspberry note, is it trying for a frambois lambic flavour? Not sure, but it seemed to have missed the mark for me, others disagreed. A beer to argue over perhaps, but I was on the not too good side.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 harrisoni (11023) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - FEB 17, 2012
Cask gravity at Green Berry Walmer. Orange cloudy beer. Thin white head. Raspberry fruity flavour. Odd wheat beer. Clearly has a bit of fruit. Honey beer. Oddly ok. Interesting
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 BeerViking (1457) - Lüneburg, Lower Saxony, GERMANY - OCT 11, 2011
Cask at the Botanist. Cloudy light brown with a faint berry note on the nose, dry with hints of cloves and pepper, the raspberry note was very light on the palate but this was a young cask and it should become a bit more prominent with age. A very interesting example of a dry wheat beer (about 65% wheat, I was told).
