Cask at theBotanist, Kew Green - 28/02/13. Lightly hazed golden amber with a decent sized white cap that retains well. Nose is floral hops, summer fruits, grass, light chlorene notes. Taste comprises pale malts, light caramel, citrus, summer fruits, background hops. Medium bodied with fine carbonation, light hop bitterness in the finish. An adequate golden/blonde, looks and feels very good - taste and nose a little more run of the mill.

Cask, full pint, shared with Finn and Harrisoni at Pakenham Arms. Hazy golden body, filmy layer at the surface. Fresh fruity nose. Ditto taste profile where peaches and floral hops can be detected. Smooth bittersweet ending. Quite nice (London, 01.11.2012).

Cask at the Pakenham Arms, London. Pours clearish gold with a fine, white foam head. Toasty pale malt aroma, some hay. Light sweet flavor with some white grapes, a bit of wet wood tang, slight astringency, a touch musty. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet finish with berries, grains, light hay bitterness, wet wood - yeah, a bit more tang. Perhaps not in optimal condition. As it is, just OK.

UPDATED: NOV 1, 2012 Handpull at The Botanist. Beautiful clear fairly deep amber pour ("gold"? - I did confirm it’s the right brew) with a small but lasting beige creamy/foamy head. Tastes and smells like a classic bitter - sweet slightly treacly caramel with some herbal bitterness, pretty much no alcohol. Lightly syrupy mouthfeel, still and quick-finishing. Ehhhh.
