Cask at The Lamb in Chiswick. Dark brown with a white foam. Lovely soft malty beer, good full flavour despite low alcohol strength, hint of roasty nut and caramel, decent relatively dry finish, very drinkable.

Clear medium to dark amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120806]

Gravity Dispense at Wandsworth Common Halloween Beer Festival 2012.
Dark mahogony brown with a thin off white head which soon clears.
Malt, barley, light vegetal tones on the nose.
Roasty taste, light chocolate, touch of toffee.
Medium bodied with a dry finish.
A decent mild.

Cask@The Botanist, London. Deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is raisins, caramel, some syrup and mild spicyness. Flavour is raisins, caramel, syrup, some nutty notes as well as some wood. Pleasantly balanced.

Cask at The Botanist, Kew Green. A mahogany coloured pour with a small white head on top. Malty, dark fruit aroma. Tastes of dark fruit, malty, nutty and some caramel.

Cask at the Botanist. Mahogany with a reddish tint and a soft cream head; straightforward malty aroma; soft in the mouth with lightly toasted malts and a light caramel sweetness; the finish is dry with more well toasted grains. A pleasant mild, but lacking body.

Cask at the Botanist, dark brown with a small tight head and aromas of burnt toffee and blackberries. Fruity and mildly roasty body, quite light bodied, a touch of toffee in the finish.
