Our mild American ale is a great accompaniment to spicy and BBQ fare. One of our most popular offerings.

[Tap] Dark amber in color, with a thin, short lived head. Aroma of caramel and a little grain. Taste was mostly the same. A surprising hoppy kick in the finish, almost like a pale ale.

On tap at Brew Kettle. Clear reddish amber with a medium off-white head. Malty and bready aroma that is sort of sweet. Mostly malt flavor with a smoky hop finish.

This poured a nice red color with a white head. Aroma was mild malts and thats about it. Flavor was malty and a bit sweet with some bitterness but not much flavor provided by the hops. Just plain.

Rating backlogged from my gathering back in October. Amber in color. Fairly non descript caramel aroma, maybe a touch of smoke. Taste has caramel and lightly toasted malts. Light citric hop presence. Light to medium bodied, easy drinking and smooth.

In short: Some sort of soft Pale Ale. As drinkable as it is forgettable
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear dark golden body with a short-lived off-white head
In long: Malt profile is smooth juicy fruity caramel (rye?). Hopping is basic citrusy hops. Almost well balanced, although shifted a bit towards the malt. Medium carbonation, medium body. There really isnít much to say here. Nothing offensive but this is a basic low-profile American ale that I often get in little coutryside brewpubs. Copperhead Redneck Ale.

Draft sample at brewpub. Poured clear golden color with a medium frothy white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Moderate sweet balanced aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Medium balanced bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Average drinkable brew.

The beer leaves a bitter aftertaste. The beer is drinkable, but I donít think I would get again.

On tap. Pretty basic amber. Only interesting element is a tiny hint of smoke, beyond that, meh.

Pours a clear, coppery body below a thin skin of white. Weak aroma with a malted presence and a light milkiness. Weak, lemony citrics late. Balanced flavor, finishes bitter. Sessionable, but Iím none too impressed.

Bottle, poured a orangish brown (not red?) with a thin head. Some aromas of malts and a bit or earthy hops. Bland flavor, not much going on. I was told this was more of a hoppy red ale and that certainly wasnít the case. I found it to me quite bland and boring. Iíd pass on this one.
