12oz bottle. Bottle labeled 6.0%. Pours a clear red orange color. Thin khaki head. Few short ropes of lace. Up front, sweet darker kind of caramely toasty malts, some nuttiness, light spice. Some mild earthy hop.Dark fruit. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter. Medium body. Smooth, kind slick, light crisp lighter carbonation. Solid, straight-forward oktoberfest. 2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft pint at Moerlein Lager House. Pours a clear orange-hued gold with a small off-white head that leaves some lace streaks and spots. The aroma is very light, with toast, sugar, banana chips, and paper. Flavor of toast, grass, wet hay, sugar, banana, and wet leaves. Light-bodied, with low to moderate carbonation and a sweet mouthfeel with minor balancing bitterness and a finish that dries out. Not a very strong Oktoberfest offering.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle received in a trade with awlcordell. A clear amber pour that has just a little foam. A sweet toffee and gentle fruit aroma. Caramel malts and that fruit are tasted first. It is a little like drinking candy. Some grain, earth, and soft hop notes. Caramel grows. This is a sweet drinking beer and is definitely on the pleasant side.
