3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours no head on a hazy brown colored body.
The aroma is a sharp sourness with some light apricot smells. Nice.
The taste is raspberry tartness, general sourness and lemon. Wonderful balance.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
Tasty and approachable.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
10 ounce sample on tap at the brewpub. The aroma is lightly fruity, and vinous with a light tartness. Smells like what I would want in a Flemish Brown. Mildly transparent mahogany brown body with virtually no head present. Starts with moderate tartness and acidity. Some acetic flavors are present. The middle has some sweet, chocolate maltiness. Finishes with some more fruity, grape peel tartness. Rather vinous, and certainly not a bad example.
