This porter is a rich, velvety smooth drop. It leads with a roasty aroma that plays into a lightly burnt, black malt character with chocolate and/or coffee undertones and a bit of roasty dryness in the finish. Overall, a substantial, malty dark ale with a complex and flavorful roasty character. the name of this lovely porter was submitted by a member of the beer community and got his name on the beer label as well.

On tap at the brewpub. Served a virtual black color with a moderate head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of burnt malt with a trace of dark chocolate. Taste of roasted malt and dark chocolate with a trace of coffee. Mild bitterness and a dry finish. Medium body, smooth and creamy. Has a nice rich texture. very good balance. Good beer to end the day with. Well worth checking out.
