Bottle … Fantômepalooza 2011This beer rocks!... Murky toasted caramel ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Fantastic retention. The aromatic highlights are sour cherries, oak and caramel. Medium to full-bodied with gentle carbonation. The flavor is sour and fruity; backed up by plenty of alcohol warmth. Tart, tangy, fruity finish. World class bottle of beer supplied by Blazer06!

Hazy orangish pour with tiny white head. Aroma is sweet candied yams hint of maple syrup. Taste is sweet yams spices. Taste is a bit dry. Tasty treat with a twist

25oz bottle, T-day beer #2. Pours out a slightly darker orange/brown hue, good carbonation. Aromas are elegent, I was looking for funk, but got a nice light spice. Palate is really really sweet both on the entry and finish. I think the mid is overwhelemed between the nutty almost pecan pie like entry, then it hits into a lush pumpkin pie texture. Super heavy and thick, dessert like, but while being high ABV its not brought down by it.

Sampled from 750ml bottle. Poured a red-brown color with a small head. Aroma was maple, brown sugar, malt, notes of yams. Flavor was notes of sweet candy, malt, maple syrup and yams. Interesting beer!

750 ml bottle. Reddish amber pour, with a light caramel colored head. Maple syrup, sweet potatoes, toffee, light brett, sweet, but slightly dry, and slight spice notes. A nice beer, I like the brett twist.

DalzAle (2009) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - DEC 23, 2011
Bottle. Dark amber brown pour, a very smal amount of carbonation and strong aroma of sweet baking spices. Flavor is the expected sweet potato, a little brown sugar and some nice sweetness on the aftertaste. Not much different from the regular version.

Pour is dark reddish with thin white head, aroma has notes of bretty lemon, funk some slight horse, hints of yam and caramel, touch of dark fruit, hints of vanilla in there as well. Taste is nice yam, vanilla, dark fruit, some slight vanilla-y brett lemon notes. Some nice funky notes in there as well. Nice brew, surprising, nothing crazy good but tasty,

Bottled 2011 Version. Pours with a super hazy amber hue with a thin and off-whit head. Aromas are sweet, yam pie, spices, marshmallow, funk, light brett/horseblanket, biscuit, grapes and vinous. Super mild on the funk, but nice none the less. Flavors are strongly of pumpkin pie, a bit dank. Funk is really under developed, but it is really nice without the distracting house esters. It tastes like pie. Much more clean than regular AM. No esters. Flavors of artificial syrup (aunt Jemimahs), a bit bitter, maple, butterscotch, lactose. Medium sweet, clean, minimal to no funk at the moment (from my tastes; family disagrees), lemon zest, light carbonation. Really not funky, but a bit hot. Pretty tasty, and nicely cleaner than normal, but no funk.

Bottle via Provisions. Much more tangy and crisp than the regular version. Tons of yam and spice still in the brew but more muted compared to the "normal" variate. My favorite of 2011 for Autumn Maple.
