Poured a medium dark brown color. Nose was a little spicy on top of dark fruits. Taste was best of the series to date, hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, figs, plums, and toasted malt.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is spice, burnt sugar, bready malt and booze. Thin mouth with spice, burnt sugar, caramel, sweet fruit, very nice.

Bottle opened during the Christmas Movie Marathon on 12/20/14. Reddish brown pour with a medium tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, berry and oak. Malty and caramelly flavor with Belgian esters, berry and oak before a sweet, vinous finish.

Caramel brown in color... Aroma of raisins, grapes, figs.... Flavor is vinous, figs and raisins are prevalent, plums, tobacco and oak on finish... Delicious

Draft at craft ale house. Pours clear reddish amber with minimal head but a slight surface coating. The aroma has a nice oak, some Winey notes, but little else. I wonder if this has faded due to age. The taste is quite belgian, semi-sweet , dark fruit, solid brew.

Mmm soy sauce...
A - pours a dark burnt sienna with no head. S - Nose is soy sauce and soy sauce. Some toasted nuts, chocolate, raw cacao with Belgian yeast. M - medium body with a light tang. End is warming and sweet. T - in the taste the soy sauce is toned down. Strong raw cacao, toasted nuts chocolate, barrel notes and a light alcohol end. Some vanilla, toasted pecans and bread dough. O - odd. Not bad but tangy and overly soy saucey

"started out ho-hum, but opened up quite nicely. dark brown. smooth big body from the partial oak aging. no rough edges once this beer warms up. aroma and flavor are spicy yeast (maybe actual spices?) a hint of cocoa, and a sweet malt presence, with barely discernible hopping. definitely better warmer. fell short of 2 turtle doves only because that one was awesome. 2 years old it’s kickin ass"

This poured a dark amber color with a white head. Aroma was of lots of.caramel, Belgian yeast, and booze. Flavor was similar, lightly woody. Another booze bomb by the bruery.

Chriso. Jammy, sweet, gummi bear, malty beer. Mouldy aroma. I like it. Yummy.
