Bottle at jtclockwork’s place for a tasting. Pours a clear golden amber with a thin to medium sized head. Soft fuzzy musk, belgian yeast, malt and toast on the nose. Bubblegum. Medium bodied, there’s the pineapple, big and sweet. Warm musk and more pineapple. I get it, golden rings, pineapple. Haha. Sweet and definitely some pineapple juice. Warm and a bit boozy. I’m not getting the fascination with these 12 beers of giftmas beers. I can’t recall one of them being anything I’d write home about if I tasted them blind, yet they are highly sought after solely because of the label. Seems silly to me, but what do I know, I’m still chasing a couple of rare bottles that are well past their prime, solely because of their label. Drinks ok, but not really worth the time.

Bottle shared by me at tasting at my house. Pours gold with off white head. Nose and taste of pineapple juice, orange candy, sweet malt, winter spices, sugar and bubblegum. Lots of pineapple juice. Medium body.

Pours a moderate copper color. With little to no head and a well carbonated body. Aroma is of pineapple juice, fruit, spice, Belgian yeast, light spice and some alcohol. Taste is of pineapple juice, tropical skittles, citric acid, light alcohol. Interesting.

Pineapple. Mild sour and tart. Pretty good. Has the sour flavor but more dinkable than the stronger sours. Pineapple flavor really sets off.

750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber with a moderate linen white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left light lace. Very pleasant aroma of pineapple, orange, spice and some fruity Belgian yeast. The spices are difficult to individually distinguish with the allspice being an exception. The flavor is similar with ample pineapple, orange, spice, and fruity Belgian yeast. I enjoy sweet beers and this one is definitely on the sweet side, which is fine with me but I know is not for everyone. Alcohol is well hidden. Very nice winter seasonal.

Pours hazy dark golden color with white head. Aromas of cinnamon and tropical fruits with some dough. Very sweet fruity flavor with some dough and cinnamon. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Pours a deep orange gold with no head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, pineapples, bananas and spices. Taste follows, sweet and hot with a tart pineapple finish, lots of spices in this one. Pretty hot but cool to try. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy gold pour, fluffy white head. Just over the top sweetness and cloying pineapple notes. Way too much sweet component. Could have used a hint of something to tone down the canned fruit juice flavors.

Draft. Poured a tad hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma was a lot of sweetness, plenty of alcohol notes, hops. Flavor was heavy on the syrup candy notes, sugar, some light bitter citrus notes. Alcohol is present, but a lot more subtle for being 11.5%. I just bought a bottle of this so we’ll see how this one ages.

Seems a bit heavy. It smells like pineapplem, vanilla, and cinnamon. Actually smells and tastes like a pineapple upside down cake - fruity, cakey, and spiced. Not bad.
