COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
5 Golden Rings is the 5th verse in our ’12 Days of Christmas’ winter seasonal ale series. This is the only golden ale in the bunch but it definitely packs a holiday punch. We spiced up this 11.5% ABV ode to Winter with cinnamon, allspice and ginger along with some delicious sweet and tangy pineapple.

Very hazy deep amber beer, little white head. Softish and viscous palate. Stodgy and tangy ripe fruits. Bruised pineapple. A little black pepper and yeast. Semi dry finish. Tinned fruit aftertaste. Overall it’s a bit sticky and stodgy with too much over ripe fruit. The pepper is nicely judged though!

Golden pour with a small white head. Aromas of citrus and pineapple with spices. Flavor is sponge cake and pineapple. Really well made, the flavor is so interesting. Finish is a bit warm from the abv but I bet it will mellow out nicely over a few years. Very complex and wonderfully made.

Good but not great. Lots of pineapple and orange on the nose with our spices. Sweet and dry on the finish easy to relax with but a little too dry

Orange-yellow pour with a white head. The aroma is full of sweet pineapple with some biscuit malt. The flavor is more complex. I get a lot of pineapple and orange notes as well as some nutmeg, coriander, cherries and alcohol. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
