Really enjoyed this Belgium, to me brings in what a Belgium should be, strong, smooth, the ABV does not come through and it full of flavor.

Pours a brownish color with a white foam head. Has a pleasantly sweet fruit aroma. Flavor is a combination of tart fruit and sweet Belgian yeast. Very enjoyable and very strong.

750, capped. Pours a cloudy dark amber with a loose off-white head. Big heavy malty dark brown sugar nose with sharp acidic berry notes...not such a good combination. Way too malty. Sticky thick mid palate with flabby carb. Heavy malt sugars with an imbalanced counterpoint of acidic bitter berry notes. A bit schizophrenic.

Father’s Day 14, with Zach, after the French World Cup win over Honduras, pours a dark mahogany brown with a java head. Nose is sweet, malty, with big toffee. Taste is very sweet, with a big caramel and toffee taste. Finishes on the same sweet tasting notes. Quaff Score 7 / 10
