This one is full of citrus hop taste and aroma. Mixed in there is some pineapple and grape. Oak comes through nice and big. Vanilla rounds out the experience. This is a different kind of Tripel. I really hope they come out with it again down the line. Maybe in their provisions line. I’m out of bottles and I want more. If you’re looking for a well rounded Tripel, don’t look here. If you want a big flavorful Tripel with a huge hop kick and a good oak presense, this is for you.

On tap at Stone Brewery Bistro and Gardens. Hoppy and a bit funky aromas. Not a triple. Hazy grapefruit coloured. Well hopped, dry finish. Somewhat complex and unique. Bit above average mouthfeel.

On tap at Stone. Clear golden yellow pour with a slick of white foam. Aroma is sweet with faded hops perhaps a grape like character and an underlying clove smell. Taste is sweet malt, a bit of alcohol, candied sugar, and citrus. Bit of a tangy and sharp finish from the citrus and alcohol. Appropriate mouth feel for the style. This tasted much better than it smelled. Good beer.
