4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Brilliant brew. Strong and rich imperial stout, the long bourbon aging give the beer a deep taste of vanilla, cinnamon, some fruits and oak. Lots of alcohol, but it is wel hidden. Amazing.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled @ Zeebra #2, small sample. Viscous, vinous. Alcoholic, roast, coffee. Bit sweet. Very alcoholic. They were able to hide the alcohol in the chocolate rain, but this one is way too alcoholic, which dominates the whole beer. Not really good actually.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
2013 bottle thanks to John for sharing. Dark brown pour with no head. Aroma has tons of burnt caramel and vanilla with some dried dark fruit and alcohol. Tastes way too sweet. Strong rich caramel, brown sugar, molasses, vanilla, and rich dried fruit. Tastes more like a fruited, sweetened liquor than a beer. No carbonation. Thick, chewy and syrupy. Big boozy alcohol burn in the finish. The big, bold flavors here are nice but it’s just too much alcohol for me.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Had this at a tasting. Oak, vanilla, dark fruit, and funk on the nose; all follow onto the palate. A little hot fresh. Not overly excited about the brett on it either, finishes tart.
