3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from duffman which I shared at DLD. Pours a very murky caramel hue, no head, faint. Aromas are decent bourbon, sweet malts, touch of spicy yeast, vanilla tannins, spirit. Initial is spicy, bourbon, warming spirit. A bit spicy, nice with a touch of esters. Murky, warming, estery fruit with decent caramel, a but heavier medium bodied. Nice play on a stronger belgian aged in Bourbon, the spices comes through moderately. A bigger barrel presence for sure.
