Pours a murky dark brown color with a soapy off-white head from the hand pump. Cough syrup aroma to go along with an intense woodiness and maybe some chocolate. The flavor is so intensely woody with a medicinal cherry flavor and a light tartness.

Firkin at The Bruery. See the Burly Gourd ratings add some cherry and you pretty much have this one. I thought the tart cherries added another layer that I liked a lot. Good stuff.
