Poured from our Reserve Society delivery into a snifter a darkest brown black with a thin head. Aroma is WOW dark fruit boozy cocoa vanilla bourbon. Flavor is incredible. Flat out pruney raisin bourbon with a domination of chocolate & vanilla like a job. Overall a smooth lovely beverage eons above many other brews in this category. LOVE this shit!!! 18% makes it a sipper and happy to do so. Another reason The Bruery is an outstanding brewery. Signature beverage for sure!

(bottle - 750 ml) Dark black pour with a tan head. Lots of roasted malts and chocolate with some dark fruits. Flavor is big roasted malts with lots of cocoa and a big bourbon and dark fruit finish. Got to get more to age.

Bottle. Big chocolate, vanilla and bourbon in the nose. Similar flavor with a bit of dark dried fruit (think raisin or prune) and loads of alcohol. Really good, but could use some age.

ABUSEDGOAT (2416) - California, USA - FEB 6, 2014
Black pour, moderate to small tan head, some lace/retention - which is good for how strong this stuff is. Aroma of chocolate, barrel, vanilla, darker fruit, high alcohol, light roast. Full bodied, sweet, alcoholic. It’s really decadent but the alcohol heat and cost ($40/bottle or $34 with reserve membership) take away from it.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with small, lacing tan head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, molasses and bourbon. Sweet flavor that ends more dry with bitter notes and alcohol. Medium to full bodied, syrupy text. and soft carb. A great impy.

Pours near black with a transient tan head and a chocolate and alcohol aroma. There is a very hearty chocolate and vanilla flavor with a very warm alcohol trail. Complex and tasty.

Small pours are best. Overwhelmingly sweet with what seems like more vanilla than chocolate in the nose and on the palate. Huge and sticky but decadent and delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle share at DLD 2013. Pour is black with minimal head. Aroma is of chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, dark caramel, and booze. Flavor is very sweet, borderline cloying - chocolate, caramel, molasses, and booze. A bit on the hot side but masked nicely by the huge amount of sugar.
