Another gem by The Bruery. Ofcourse another brew with BT as a mainbeer, but they make some good stuff for sure.

750ml bottle - pours an oily black with medium tan head . Vanilla and cocoa are the predominant aromas . Cocoa powder and chocolate syrup notes but not too sweet . ABV was very well hidden . An outstanding beer ! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours black with tan head. Aroma is strong of chocolate, vanilla, lots of rich aromatics. Taste is sweet, rich, full bodied, very intense, not too much heat but just a touch. Overall, it’s a very delicious brew!

At a tasting, thanks, smallish bubbly head, oily pour, opaque black color, alcohol spiraling out, aroma of cherries, vanila, toasted bread, fudge and very dark sugar, flavor of cherries, dried apricots and prunes with burned sugar, very sweet, lucks some bitterness.Very good, but a little too rich to my taste.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks Stas & Vova. 2014 bottle, 18.5%. Black. Velvety aroma of vanilla, coconut and some wood, a little boozy and vinous in the mouth with raisins and prune. Full body, a little alcoholic finish with coconut flakes.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks Stas & Vova. 2014 bottle, 18.5%. Black. Big aroma with chocolate, bourbon, vanilla and some booziness. Sweet flavor with lots of chocolate, bourbon, vanilla and some alcohol. Full-bodied. Great stuff. Gotta let it sit in the glass for the alcohol to mellow out a bit.

Bottle, Boise imperial stout tasting. Very dark brown, near black pour with a thin brown cap. Modest nose is sweet, vanilla and cocoa hints of bourbon. It’s boozy, but not in a bad way. Rich flavors of chocolate and vanilla. Sweet, but not cloying. Over the top at 19.5% ABV, but really really good for what it is. Many thanks to syndicate for sharing this.
