Courtesy of BMan1113VR. Black color/ fleeting tan head. Chocolate malt powder, vanilla milk shake aromas. Rich, smooth mouthfeel. Sweet chocolate milkshake, vanilla, dark roast malt, whoppers candy flavors--very good.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750ml bottle. Big appreciation to derek for yet another contribution... Pours a deadened cola reddish brown pour with lighter edged hues and essentially no head... Rich sweet and concentrated chocolate decadence but wouldn’t go that far in terms of actual enjoyability... Flavors are heated and undisputedly black Tuesday-esque with an added chocolate sensibility. Thick turbid and hot, very hot nonetheless but settles down to a mild degree. Abrasive burn, somewhat unejoyable but the pronounced chocolate and cacao adds a nice touch.

Bottle: i absolutely love the aroma. It’s a very dessert-like with cocoa powder, milk chocolate, and vanilla. It pours a dark brown with some orange highlights when held to the light an a minimal off-white head. The flavor starts with lots of chocolate and vanilla. The finish has bourbon and mild alcohol. Sweet...yes...but very tasty in small doses. Any more than a few ounces would be too much. 750mL is a completely inappropriate package size. It’s definitely sweet, but one hell of a dessert beer.

Thanks to Ken for sharing this one ... chocolate roast malt nose ... hint of prune ... but most deep dark chocolate ... big boozy front ... sweet chocolate linger ... rich spicyness ... little warming alcohol on tounge ... light bourboness ... too much boozyness in linger ... light vanilla ... soft chocolate ... very nice but too much bourbon still just like the black tue

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
(750ml bottle courtesy of Dak and Dionysus!!). Pours dark brown with red hue and tan head. Aroma has caramel, vanille and dark chocolate. Taste is sweet with the noticeable chocolate as well as alcohol. Full bodied with alcohol burn, but still subdued given the abv. This is a really good beer, but its hard to live up to the hype.

Sampled at The Yard in Santa Monica. Great Beer Freek nights. Pours a dark brown. You can smell the hot chocolate almost immediately. Taste is spot on hot cocoa with a creamy vanilla undertone. Then the warmth kicks in. A small sample is all that is needed because this does not taste like 19.5%.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 17/20
Huge thanks to Rebecca for surprising us with this whale! The pour is thick with a small dark brown layer of foam. The nose is massively chocolaty. The alcohol esters burn the nostrils ;) I have to admit, I was more impressed with this brew when I found out it was 19.5%. I would’ve guessed about 12-13. The flavor is pretty much a chocolate bomb with alcohol that burns the throat and a very salty soy-like mid palate and then some vanilla in the finish. 2-3 ounces of this were good, any more than that becomes a chore. Either way, it was a real treat.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: APR 5, 2011 Thanks to Rebecca from Beer Revolution for sharing this! Pours deep brown with a thin tan head. Full nose of chocolate, roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla and chocolate. Flavor is chocolate on the front palate, a bit of roasted malt, chocolate in the mid palate, a bit more malted chocolate in the back palate and finishing up with.... GOTCHA! Vanilla! This stands out in the finish about 5-10 seconds after the beer has been swallowed. Good thing I like chocolate. A bit thin in the body for the style, but almost no hint of ABV..

Dstructo! Bad ass share my friend! Black pour, brown head. And holy crap if this beer doesn’t smell and tast just like cocoa puffs. And I love me some cocoa puffs. Much different from Black Tuesday and easier to drink. Delicious.

UPDATED: MAR 14, 2011 Huge thanks to Dstructo for sharing a cooler full of Bruery gems. Dark brown/black pour with a small brown head. Wonderful chocolate, vanilla, and bourbon aromas. The taste is wild and totally reminds me of Coco Puffs. Fantastic.....
