4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured from the beer truck at Sucréversary. Yellow with a nice white foam. Lots of green apple, pear, and grape notes. It does taste more like a wine with a fruit astringency. Finish is slightly sour, dry, and refreshing. One of my favorites at the festival.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared by Kenny. It pours hazy very pale gold with a tiny white head. The nose is sweet, oily, honey, coconut, vanilla, coconut water, must and wood. The taste is crisp, tart, sherbet, apple, pear, nice sourness, white grape, gooseberry, straw, light must and Riesling. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Kind of like a cheap sparkling white wine, but not necessarily in a bad way. Solid.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: DEC 15, 2013 Bottle cheers to Ken. Pours hazy straw with not much of a head. Nose has plenty of lemon, biscuit, vanilla, white grapes, sherbert, sugar, white pepper and peach. Plenty of summery peach notes with moderate almonds, plum tart and light apricot. Kind of like a dry and fruit driven Riesling with a sugary kick. Solid

Craft Clerkenwell tasting. Hazy paleish gold beer, no real head. Palate is light and dry and a little crisp. Fine carbonation. Mild lemony sourness with grape adding a light winey vibe and also providing a little balancing sweetness. Light dry finish. Not bad.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ml bottle acquired via trade. Shared with the Destihl Crew. Pours a nice golden hue, bright yellow with gentle haze. Frothy whitish head stays as a mellow ring, laces ok. Aromas are vibrant, lemony. Green sour grapes meet mellow oak, touches of firm lactic acidity, lemon rind and some yogurt. Gentle touches of green grape, grapeskin, oak is decent, touches of white grape, gentle sweeter elements, touches of dry tannic oak, some spritiziness. Initial is lighter end of the fold, touches of oak, mellow vanilla and honeysuckle. Green grapes, tartness and mellow crab apple. Touches of lactic acidity, lemon, and firm sourness, potent sourness, a touch of champagne, green apple, and sourness. Lactic acidity, some nice lemon rind, fruit. Middle is lactic, green grape, and nice yogurty sourness. Lactic, lemon, gentle carbonation. A touch of fruitiness in the base shows some body. , gentle honeycrisp apple. Backend is a bit more dry, gentle yeast, oak, middling sourness overall. Apple, lemon, white grape and some sweetness. Really brings that Reisling and white wine element, a but yeasty, firm sourness. Finish is dry, oaky, and tannic. Some sourness, is decent to middling. Nice stuff. Really straddles that sour and white wine line well. For 8 and change ABV, it’s not as big as you’d expect.
