COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Collaboration with Fess Parker.
Confession is a true collaborative effort between the wine and beer world. A variation of our sour blonde ale, brewed in part by the Parker team, was blended and fermented with juice pressed from Parker’s Riesling grapes, harvested in part by The Bruery team. The result is remarkable. Not quite beer, not quite wine. Fragrant fruit flavors warm the nose, infiltrated by a slight funk from the wild yeast. The first sip is reminiscent of a dry, white wine, but everything changes upon further examination as the flavors marinate and reveal themselves with each gulp.

Craft Clerkenwell tasting. Hazy paleish gold beer, no real head. Palate is light and dry and a little crisp. Fine carbonation. Mild lemony sourness with grape adding a light winey vibe and also providing a little balancing sweetness. Light dry finish. Not bad.

Slightly hazed golden straw pour with a nice white head. Wonderful wine aroma and plenty of grapes. Really nice lactic tartness, lots of lemon, and hints of green apple. Mild oak and grass, maybe some lime zest, too. The flavor is slightly sweet up front with some grape notes, but quickly transitions to tart, lactic acidity and lemon zest. Mild lime, drying oak, green apple, and a hint of grassy funk.

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell in London - thanks to Mr. Bruery himself, MadMitch. Pours clear yellow with a pure white foam head. The nose has light funk and white grape. Light-medium sweet flavor with drying white grapes, pear, lemon, mellow funk. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Good tangy finish with pale citrus, restrained funk, lemon. Tasty.

Hazy gold pour with a nice sticky white head. Flavors of white wine, wild grapes, vanilla, toasted oak. This is the beer to bridge white wine lovers with. I loved it, but I do enjoy white wine. This will turn some away who do not enjoy wine.

750mL thanks to BMan1113VR. Pours a low haze, brighter straw with weak foam. Nose is quite excellent with rich Muscatel white grape...peaches, mangosteen, fresh fruit smoothie. Taste brings mild acetic heat which doesn’t come across as too salty or vinegary, bright greener fresh grape, creamy peach. Palate is a tad salty and acetic but the thicker peaches and cream character gives it some thickness and sweetness. Overall yummy.

Bottle split at CBC on Aarons wrong date visit, big thanks to our Kenneth, 05/12/13. Hazed orange yellow with a thin off white covering that clears to pondwork and edgeing. Nose is dank citric wafts, straw, light citric smoke effect, burnt straw, bitter lemon rind, seared mandarin. Taste comprises burnt straw, musty dankness, dry rot, tarte pineapple, burnt citric dipped straw, bitter apricot skins - lots going on! Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grassy tarteness in the closure. Nice sour.

Hd it alongside the wine. A decent beer, wine notes, barrel, tartness, its decent.

On tap at ratebeer gallery event. Pours clear golden with a thin white head and a sour fruit aroma. There is a tart fruit flavor that sticks to the palate.

750 ml bottle sampled at a tasting. Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned. I have not been to confession since the last time I was forced to do so in high school. This bottle pours a hazy pale yellow-gold, like the blond locks of a sweet young altar boy. The head is white. This beer drinks like a sour wine, though not Communion wine. White wine. Dry, tart, and vinous. White grapes, lemon, and grass. I like this one a lot.
