3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Faster, Bigger, Better, Bolder pours a glowing hazy golden color with a nice two finger pure white head. Bubbles shoot everywhere. This is actually a very nice beer to look at. That might sound weird but itís a beautiful beer.
Like I said above this is a bit of a clash of two styles. I pick up a good amount of what seems to be a Belgian Yeast. This was brewed with sake yeast but part of me wants to believe it might of been brewed with maybe both? It has a nice clean smell to it. Full of spice, citrus, tropical fruits, honey, and Kumquats. Nice aroma.
While the smell to me was nice and big and full of aromas, the taste kind of tastes a back seat here is more subdued. It was just more light. Kumquats and spices hit first. Then a bit of other fruits come through but like I said, itís lighter than the aroma.
Mouthfeel is nice. Medium bodied. Nicely carbonated and dry finish. Goes down nicely.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Capped 750 from Beer Revolution. Pours hazy gold with a foamy white head. Aroma of citrus zest and spice. Rather full bodied due to the heavy foamy carb. Flavor reminds of a heavy sparkling wine - dry and spicy. Much spicier than a wine but the same sort of thing. Except, perhaps for the citrus. Finishes dry, sparkly and spicily flavorful. Amazing ale.

3.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle via Provisions store a week ago. Pours a vibrant yellow with small to medium head. Aroma is full of Belgian spice and funk. The funk is not pleasant and has an aroma of feet and slight barnyard but not pleasant in the least. The taste was surprisingly very clean and crisp. Some citrus notes with a little cinnamon and anise somehow in there. The sake yeast addition doesnít stand out to me but I might just not have the palate for it at this point. Overall, it was ok but not something I need to seek out.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
bottle pours slightly cloudy yellow with white head. Aroma light fruits and citrus, taste matches with added spice. Finish spicy with some pepper. Palate carbonated and light. Alcohol not very noticeable.
For all the trouble they went to with the exotic ingredients it came across as a decent fairly spicy but unremarkable tripel. Pretty good.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle courtesy of RS membership. Served in a Bruery tulip.
Pours a slightly-hazed light apricot color with a good white head and a bit of lacing. Thin cap throughout. The nose carries a lot of sake yeast plus a bit of citrus. Far too one-dimensional and not a very nice dimension at that. The flavor is about the same. Not terrible, but not all that appetizing. Light body with crisp carbonation. Meh.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
750 ml bottle thanks to my friend Dave. Pours a crystal clear gold with a moderate-large white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left light lace. Lively carbonation noted. Pleasant aroma of mild orange, dry champagne yeast, and mild malt. The flavor is orange (I guess its the kumquat, but since I havenít had all that many kumquats, Iím going with what I know), mild malt, spice (canít pick out which one(s)), followed by some moderate hops bitterness. Light-medium bodied. An interesting beer for sure.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
(bottle) A big white head that quickly settles into shallow, semi-stiff peaks; a cloudy yellow body with a steady stream of bubbles. Aroma of fruit, vegetable, lots of spice, sweet, grass, lemon (not quite sure what a kumquat smells or tastes like, but I think that might be what Iím smelling/tasting). Medium body. Flavor is spicy, sweet, citrus, moderately earthy; nice acidity to it. especially on the finish. Sweet but refreshing. Moderate hops.

Bottle thanks to Miver. Aroma of orange, yeast and pepper. Cloudy golden body with medium lasting head. Flavor begins with strong with citrus and ginger followed by cayenne and yeast. Subtle wheat, rice finish. Dry, peppery aftertaste. An excellent beer.
