In short: A tart and fruity (apricots) blond ale with a strong farmhouse character. Very good.
How: Bottle 750ml. Consumed when approximately 8 months of age, maybe more. Bottle from Grownfool, thanks a lot Brian.
The look: Clear golden-blond body topped by a small white head (cloudy at the very end of the bottle).
In long: Nose has a nice and strong horsy-farmhouse character dominating apricots and lactic funk. Taste is more juicy-fruity than the aroma, plenty of fresh apricots juice, medium tartness, medium lactic acid presence, some acidity, sourness in the low-medium range for the style, some oak tannins can be felt in the finish. Almost no sweetness sensation despite being very fruity. Carbonation was a bit too soft for my liking thus increasing the juicy sensation of this very fruity beer. Sourheads might be disappointed by this one because this beer is really not that sour, this is a tart & fruity farmhouse blond ale. Rather easy to drink for the style, I drank the full 750ml and I didn’t grow tired of it. Another nice USA bottle I acquired in a trade, over the years I’ve become an expert at illegally sending alcohol across the border, a skill that has never helped me land a job even though I bring it up in every job interview.

Apricots, soured grains, and oak... Oh my! All flavors work in harmony, yeast adds a touch of funk at the end. This has really improved in the last year (was already quite nice), and it's drinking great right now. Shame this was my last bottle :(

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, lemons, straw, and hints of apricots. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of brettanomyces and acetone, combined with medium notes of malt, and light notes of tart finish.
