COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As a going away present to Grant Phillips, our batch #300 winner and former brewer, we let him spend his last day at work brewing one of his own recipes. The result is a 5.9% ABV Belgian-style pale ale brewed with Simcoe and Amarillo hops. This brew will be tapped on Friday and should be on all weekend long. ’Grant is Pale’ is not only a fitting farewell to one of our great brewers but also a lasting testament to one of the only people we know that needs to use SPF 100 sunscreen.

Hazy pale golden color with a white head. Spicy hops, very floral, and a nice citrus zest character. Sweet bread, dough, and some yeast. Lightly peppery on the finish. Dry finish to the flavor, nice citrus notes, and floral and spicy hops. Nice bready malt and yeast components, too.
