750ml bottle, big thanks to Mikem409 for sharing. Dark brown, still kind of clear around the edges. Particles floating in the body. Minimal light brown / greyish bubbly head. Big hazelnut in the nose, some obvious heat. Dark chocolate, bourbon vanilla, very tasty. Bigger body, lightly sticky. Very light carbonation. Sweet taste, just short of cloying. Alcohol heat, but not as much as I got when I tasted lukewarm Black Tuesday. Lightly spicy. Super long cocoa, nutty vanilla sweet aftertaste. Great, fascinating huge beer. Great stuff to sip and savor. Great experience.

750 ml bottle to snifter (shared by mikem409; BIG thanks, bro!). Looks good; a semi-opaque dark brown with thin tan lacing. Smells good too; sweet and boozy with a hazelnut presence. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Good, not great.

750ml bottle. So glad to get to try this rarity. Deep brown brew - nose of hazelnut, booze, chocolate, roasted malt. ABV is there but well hid for nearly 20% - there is an alcoholic bite but it doesn’t necessarily overpower the flavors. Milk chocolate, hazelnut, wood.

Tap at FWIBF, DNRT. Pours a jet black with minimal tan head. Aroma is slight hazelnut but nothing over the top. Mostly chocolate and booze. Taste is more chocolate and booze. Hazelnut and peanut flavors come in near the end. Very viscous. As with most Bruery stouts, this is desert that I can have 2oz of every 4 months.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a light tan wispy collared head. Chocolate, marshmallow, molasses, vanilla, and hazelnut. Leaves legs after swirling. Heavy mouthfeel. Sweet, tastes just like the aroma. Hazelnut is subtle. Surprisingly pretty easy drinking. Slight booze notes at the end.

Bottle... Poured near black, with a little-to-no head. Nose had a similar character to Black Tuesday with a nutty note added in there. Tasted sweet with hazelnut notes and an insanely boozy finish. This evolved with every sip. Only need a few ounces of the beast to enjoy it. I wouldn’t say this was balanced, but it certainly new what it was doing. Cocoa, dark grains, big sweetness and a coffee liquour quality.

Bottle shared at Richard’s Graduation Party (Western Springs, IL). Thanks, guys! Pours a rich blackish brown pour, good darker middle with brownish glowing edges and bottom. Frothy tannish head dies to a film, laces small. Aromas are hazelnuts and cocoa, nice good cocoa presence, gentle oak, spirit, sweet toffee and cocoa. Nice vanilla, oak, roasty and caramel sweet sticky malts. Initial is firmer bodied, good coconut, hazelnut, and cocoa. A bit sweet and sticky, rich caramel, some toffee, rich caramel and vanilla. Hazelnuts soften the blow of the dark fruit substantially. Toffee, vanilla, creamy element the other versions don’t have. Plus the hazelnut. Really nice beer here, a bit sweet, oak presence and barrel spirit is firm. But not as sweet and sticky as regular Black Tuesday. Fun and pretty nice. Tasty, rich, good hazelnut presence that dies down a bit but still offers great flavors. Nice.

Pours a pitch black with no head and no lacing (what do you expect from a 19% beer). Aroma of cocoa, roasted, caramel, vanilla, bourbon. Taste is very complex and really sweet. Some chocolate, caramel, light coffee, hazelnut, vanilla, oak. Full body and minimal carb. I had a 1 and 1/2 oz pour and it was enouh for me. A sipper.
