Black pour, big bold brown head. Shit tons of sugary sweet bourbony goodness, diabetes, chocolate, hazelnuts, diabetes, fudge brownies. Really more drinkable than recent vintages of Black Tuesday. A few years ago I would have given this a perfect 5. Not today, but it was pretty ok...in 3 oz pours max.

UPDATED: OCT 31, 2012 Black in color with no head. Smells very much like Black Tuesday. Alcohol, chocolate, slight hazelnut note, vanilla, and bourbon. Some oak, a bit of burnt sugar, dark fruit, and roast. Lots of alcohol, bourbon, and vanilla flavors. Some chocolate liqueur, mild hazelnut, light roast, coffee, and burnt sugar. The hazelnut comes through much more as it warms. Nice mouthfeel, slightly oily, in fact..

(750ml bottle) cloudy medium-deep brown, sick legs. Nose of hazelnut, light alcohol, rich, chocolate, hazelnut, graham cracker. Taste of rich milk chocolate, rum raisins, hazelnut, date, light bourbon, oak, rich and complex. Medium thick body, fairly warm and while sweet, it’s balanced.

Served in a Bruery tulip. The nose off of the bottle is absolutely spectacular with notes of vanilla, chocolate, and strong hazelnut. It’s not as strong out of the tulip, but still quite nice. Flavor cuts back a lot on these characters in favor of the base and quite a bit of alcohol. Really full body. I could sniff this all day, but the flavor doesn’t match up.

750 ml bottle shared by urbancaver- thanks again, Cam! Pours a deep brown-amber that’s opaque in the bulk of the body and light around the edges. No head to speak of. The description "Black Tuesday with Hazelnuts" is also sufficient as a 4-word review of this beer. That’s how I would describe it to anyone who’s had Black Tuesday. Hazelnut on vanilla, bourbon, chocolate, caramel, oak, bourbon, coconut, molasses, and marshmallow. Smooth, sweet, and a little warming, though it’s still shocking that these beers are over 19% ABV. I know they’re not for everyone but I love them; this one is no exception. By the way, scented wax? Fun.

75cl, at 18.6%Vol, new exclusive American brew Anno 2012, with hazelnuts, thx to Secret Santa!, very complex sweet Stout, roasted/alcoholic and slightly malty/woody, heavy, yet balanced, cloudy, nearly no head, very good brew, yet very expensive!, WOW!

Bottle. Dark, viscous reddish brown pour, with a thin almost zero head. Huge syrupy sweetness, chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, molasses, and light notes of nuts. A real sugary sipper for sure, with boozy warmth. The main contribution of the hazel nuts was making this beer quite a bit smoother than the reg BT, which I had side by side. Good, amazing how strong this beer is.

18/I/13 - 75cl bottle @ De Hopduvel - bottled: X/16/12 (2013-27) Thanks to Bobochamp for sharing the bottle!

Clear red brown beer, no head. Aroma: caramel, some chocolate, bit nutty, alcohol, sugary, disinfectant, cocoa powder. MF: no carbon, full body, boozy touch. Taste: caramel, chocolate, bit nutty (maybe just because I know), sugary alcohol, vanilla, molasses, mocha, more alcohol. Aftertaste: chocolate, molasses, little bitter, earthy touch, nutty, caramel, some alcohol, mainly chocolate and caramel though. It’s a dessert and not a bad one!

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a trim khaki head. Aroma is chocolate, hazelnut and alcohol. Taste is sweet with some hazelnut and chocolate notes. Medium bodied with some heat from the alcohol. Good.
