Jet black appearance. The wax from the bottle smells amazing..tempted to chew it like the wax candy from the 70s. Big bold imperial stout flavor with a nice bourbon coating on my tongue, with the hazelnuts on the back end. A bit hot (hey dummy, its 18.5%), but hidden well for the percentage.

750 ml bottle split 4 ways, 2013 version. Tasted together with the original Black Tuesday. Like it’s brother it pours see through black with no head, some sediment as well. Nose has loads of sweet hazelnuts, vanilla and light bourbon notes. Taste is fairly similar to BT at first but as it warms up there’s it’s more sweet and the toasted nuts come through.

Sample @ home, thanks tiong!
Aroma has strong alcohol tones, some roastiness and sweet cocoa tones. Flavour is sweet with alcohol, cocoa, dark chocolate. Nice slow sipper, better than chocolate rain. Too bad that I am allergic and do not dare to have more.

750 ml bottle. Vintage 2013. Courtesy of tiong. Enjoyed at the ISKTR 2014. Dark brown colour with no head. Red wine, sweetness, malt and mild nutty notes in the aroma. Sweet malt, vinous notes, chocolate and more sweetness in the flavour. Very sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

75 cl bottle (18.25% abv) @ ISKTR 2014. Bottled on 24.09.2013
Pours black color with a minimal head. Bourbon, vanilla and chocolate on the nose here as well, not that aggressive though. Sugary, caramel-y, chocolaty and slightly malty, some alcohol through-put, some molasses too. Hazelnut is not that distinct here. Yet another ogre of an sugary delight. Good.

750ml bottle @ ISKTR 2014. Received from Ratebeer Summer Secret Santa 2014, huge thanks to ineedbeer!

Vertical with Black Tuesday and Chocolate Rain - Pours pitch black with a smooth white head. Aroma of roasty malts, sticky syrupy notes, bourbon, toffee, nuts, wood, vanilla and slight alcohol notes. Taste is sweet, roasty and sticky with loads of nutty notes, syrup, toffee, vanilla, oak, bourbon and wood. Finish is sweet, smooth and slick with loads of nutty notes, toffee, syrup, oak, vanilla, bourbon and woody notes. Quite sweet and heavy, yet smooth and very complex. Interesting and tasty. Better than the regular version but not quite as good as Chocolate Rain.

UPDATED: NOV 10, 2014 Thanks to Bursprak for bringing this. Had this along with the original black tuesday. Pours fairly black with almost no head. Oh man the aroma is just punching you in the face with NUTELLA! Lots and lots of hazelnuts combined with sweet chocolate. Behind this there is some dark sweet fruits, vanilla and sweet bourbon notes. Amazing Aroma! The taste is very sweet but not cloying or undrinkable. You get the hazelnuts and the sweet chocolate, dark sweet fruits, syrup molasses, sweet bourbon, port notes and some warming alcohol. You can sip this so easily and it is like a dessert port wine.

2013 75 cl bottle. Pours almost Black with a transparent edge, and with no head. Aroma has chocolate, nutella, port wine, bourbon, vanilla, hazel nut, toasted malts, caramel. Taste has lots of sweet chocolate, some dry barrel notes, hint of salt. Lots of nutella! Oily body and no carb. A treat, but a little alcoholic. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
