Nose of hazelnuts, bourbon and chocolate and alcohol. Pour is thinner than expected. Head is gone instantly, but leaves a thin ring all the way down the glass. Taste is sweet with slight notes of hazelnut chocolate brownie and a small amount of bourbon. Lingers forever on the palate with roundness from the high abv, whisk is the best part of this beer.

Bottle thanks to team Garvie. Black with tan head. Aroma is heavy on the chocolate, roasty, slight nuttyness in the background, coconut. Taste is super chocolatey, hot alcohol, dried fruit, prune. Quite sweet and a little hot. I think these beers would be better if they werenít as strong

Fairly opaque brown, wee glint but solid murk. No head but thick, spirit style lacing. Big boozy bourbon; nutty and blackcurranty with a bit more needlessly terse spirits behind. Initial taste is rich, suprisingly sippable and gags of rich choc early on. Moves into a cultured nuttiness, then full on barrell paddling. Carbonation...Iíve no idea, the booziness is too rich here and then it paddles out with a spike on the mouthfeel. Finishes slicks oily malt, odd roastiness and then more boozy barrel. I think theres more greasy nut sweetness than coconut good times here but for being double the ABV of anything else Iíve had in a while...par excellence.

2012 verzhunn. This smells purple. Slightly burnt sugar, sweet grapes, raisins, sweet light roasted nuts, odd bitter, slinky, toffee choco. Slick feel, dig it.

Bottle. Appearance is black with no real head. Aroma is very sherry like with rasins and cherry, lots of booze in this, really huge beer. Taste is choloate, thick booze, and vanilla. Well itís big, which is to be expected, works well as a desert beer but not something you want to have a lot of. Good though.
