2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Rated on 01-09-2009 at Fort Wayne Gathering (Bottle) Upon pouring, the head is small, white and mostly diminishing. The body is cloudy with a pale yellow hue, fair amount of lacing and no visible carbonation. The Aroma is citrus, sour, tart, and funky. The Taste is acidic, sour, tart, citrus, and has a dry finish. The Palate is tingly and this beer is light bodied. All-in-all, this beerís taste is not to my liking as it is too sour and tart for my palate. This is a beer that I will not partake in again.

Bottle. Pours pale with a white head. This is a crisp beer with notes of lime and berry seeds. Refreshing, but not that complex.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: DEC 2, 2013 Bottle: a beer that Iíve had many times, one I love. Fresh tart notes, nice grassy profile... Such a nice, fresh, drinkable beer. I wish this was more readily available, it is certainly a contender for best "go-to" Berliner. Fresh, crisp, tart, light, grassy. Simple & elegant for when you need 750 mL of a nice Berliner.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled at esbls. Thanks Joe. This looks like a cider and smells like white wine. At least it tastes like a Berliner Weiss. Tasty. Very little wildness. Some tartness. It is kind of cidery and vinous.

750ml bottle, shared with friends. Somewhat hazy golden-orange color. White head, but it quickly fades to nothing. Lighter body, lightly sticky, little dry in the finish. Lighter carbonation, sort of crisp. Good bigger tart taste sour taste. Bready, sourdough flavor. Light saltiness. Good berliner weisse, satisfyingly sour.

16.06.2013, tap @ Alewife Queens:
Small creamy shortlasting head. Aroma is weird, popcorn, hay, sulfur, grass, roasted grain. Taste is acidic sour, soda powder, sorrel, lemon, sour apples, chalk. Slightly dry mouthfeel. Fair enough, very strange one.
