3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Almost no head left, fully hazy yellow beer. Spicy, lots of citrus, very faintly farmyard smell. Citrus, even expressly lemon, with a strange finishflavour that reminds me of Lindenblossom. Again some very restrained spices, whilst the end is completely lactic acid. Light (but not too light) body, fine carbonation, dry and acidthinning. Fine, lacking the sometimes typical Bruery-over-the-top acidity, true to the style. Many thanks to LouisV!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
75cl Bottle. Pours a clear, light yellow with a big, short lasting head. Aroma is tart, wheat, honey, grain, slight honey melon. Taste is pretty weak, but some sour, unrip pear-like tartness and bitterness. Not as fruity as the semll, but more wheaty. Burning sour body and medium high carbonation.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Slightly cloudy golden pour with no head. Aroma is sour and rubbery, some wheat and sweet florals too. Lively carbonation, tart mouthfeel, very dry finish. Taste is tart and light, with flavors of fine wheats, salt, brett, a bit of lactic character, pear and green apple, light funk also. Nice and light, good amount of sour.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours clear golden yellow with thin white head. Aroma of champagne and brett. Tastes initially tart, evolves on the palate into wheat, hay, and a lingering funk. No bitterness. Not acidic or overly sour. Perfect balance of tart and complexity from the yeasts. A very surprising beer, as I’m not normally a fan of Berliner Weisse, this was very, very nice! I would seek this out again.
