3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
750 mL bottle courtesy of Skyview. Thanks! Pours a hazy lemon yellow color with a moderate fizzy head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma is bready and yeasty with a bit of grassy and a tart finish. Some nutty and husky notes as well. Taste is citrus, bread, grass. Tart throughout. A bit on the thin side. Smooth.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
750 from Hop city. Nice haze lemon yellow appearance. Not much head on this at all. Pungent apple sauce with a lemon zest aroma; not too bad of an aroma. Slight lemon sour citrus aroma as well. Taste is a huge let down. Slight lemon sour that doesnít really develop or last that long. Has a funky malt taste at the end. Palate is average. The beer is nothing spectacular. Didnít really get much brett out of this either, which is a huge let down. Slight tart apple is coming through. Again, just a big let down from a fairly nice company.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Enjoyed this on Thanksgiving, and am awaiting the day when this is readily available in NC (soon, soon . . . ). Lustrous pale gold pour with a lively, almost champagne-like carbonation. Soft ripe apple notes with lactobacillus out the wazz, yes indeed. Very full mouthfeel, smooth and outrageously drinkable. Some moderate citrus zest in the middle, with smooth yeast and that wonderful faintly lactic flavor that makes the beer. I want kegs of this in my basement, please.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: MAR 22, 2010 750ml bottle. The pour yields a cloudy body that is the approximate color of grapefruit juice. A small, fizzy, off-white head settles quickly to a wispy film, leaving behind a soapy wash that returns to the pool below with haste. The nose is very light and crisp, fresh wheat showing a lemony citrus overtone and notes of lactic yeast. Flavors follow suit, lightly tart with lemon and just insanely fresh and drinkable. The lacto-wheat combo is simple but effective. It couldnít be any more refreshing, and at 3% I could probably drink a gallon of it. The palate is crisp and light as can be. While this isnít necessarily impressive from a hedonistic standpoint, it isnít meant to be, and the execution of the intention is flawless. Brewers of the world take note, please make more beers like this.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
750 ml bottle. Served in a chalice, the beer pours a slightly hazy straw gold color with about a half inch white head. It smells like wheat, bread/dough, lemon and also a bit of an herbal aroma I canít identify. The aroma isnít tart at all. However, that all changes in the taste. Tart lemon and apple flavors show up first, and thereís also some wheat/grain and herbs noticable in the taste. Also has a nice lingering tart finish. Mouthfeel/body is light and thin, and it has moderate carbonation. Drinkability is excellent, itís crisp, refreshing, smooth and extremely easy to drink. With the ABV being just 3.1%, going through a bottle of this is pretty easy. This would really be a great summer beer. This is the first Bruery beer Iíve tried, and it certainly wonít be the last.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy pale yellow color with a white head. Sweet tart doughy yeasty aroma with apples, lemon rhubarb pie, mild celery. Mild to medium tart flavors of granny smith apples, lightly sweetened earthy rhubarb, cream of wheat cereal grains; love that grainy malt grist. Light and easy drinking.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle: The aroma consists of lemon, grass, yeast, slight mustiness, and a hint banana. It pours a hazy dull yellow with a moderate fizzy head that fades to a thin ring around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts with some mild yeast and citrus notes. The finish turns to a moderate lemony tartness. Very refreshing and drinkable. Light bodied with carbonation that started out rather lively and somewhat fizzy, but became much more mild midway through the bottle.
