3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy light straw color with a diminished white head. Citric and sourdough bread aromas. I catch a bit of grape skin as well in the nose. Soft feel, with just enough zip to keep it lively. Hints of sweetness that are quickly ushered away with a light citric acidity. Almost a bit too sweet and thick at times. I’m sure this would do well with either of the syrups if used sparingly. Linger has a nice return of pale malt along with a touch of vanilla.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
750ml at 99 Bottles, Santa Cruz. Strikingly clear gold, made more amazing by dint of its unfiltered, bottle-conditioned nature, with tall receding white froth. Sweet, gentle wheat malt suffuses with grippier grapefruit juice aromas. Lemon juice is the dominant flavor, while subtler paste and cedar notes get almost washed away. Quite tart and refreshing, verging on watery.

Thanks to oldmanriver for sharing this beer with me.
Light orange, ´hazy, small head. A light sour aroma, fruity, raspberries and green apple --> very refreshing. Strong sour taste, but very clean and dry. Dry and full finish with some hop nuances.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottle) Pale yellow with slight head which disappeared very fast. First glass from bottle was hazy, third was cloudy, but most yeast remained in bottle). Slightly funky, slightly tart aroma. Light bodied with plentiful coarse carbonation. Sour, but in a good way, sort of reminiscent of a dry scrumpy (without the apples!). Some peppery spice, some farmyard, but mostly sour. Sour, interesting - glass I had rich and salty food as an accompaniment.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Bright yellow with a huge fluffy white head. Lemon, sweet tarts, light grassy notes, Apple juice. Medium body and lower carb than I expected. Just the right amount of mild sweet and sour characteristics to add flavor but, keep this one easy to drink, light, and juicy. Everything in here works really well together. --- rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma of hay, cider, and granny smith apples. Appears hazy yellow. Tastes of unsweetend applesauce and hay. Overall, a very approachable and mild Berlinerweiß, very nice.
