On tap at Beer Revolution. It pours cloudy pale yellow with a nice white head. The aroma is very hoppy with lots of grapefruit and citrus with a touch of grassiness. The flavor is the same with some doughy pilsner malts throughout before a bready finish. I’m not a fan of this style, the doughy malts usually throw me, but this has such a huge hop presence it didn’t matter. Good one.

Taster at provisions. Rating #14. Hazy straw yellow pour with a nice white head. Very hoppy aroma, smells like old hops actually. Big hop flavor as well, light sweetness, very nice. (1640)

Tap at Redlight. Pours a light gold with a thick white head. Very fresh hop, resiny and citrusy in the aroma. Smooth crisp clean malt, lots of big juicy citrus hops, yet immensely drinkable. Very good brew.

Gift from SJ. This was good. Some grapefruit / citrus, some hop, some caramel and grain. It was a solid brew with a good blend of ingredients.

draft @ redlight redlight. Piney hops on the nose with musky resin. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Resinous hops upfront with a sticky mouthfeel, traces of grain and corn but the hops dominate, which is not a bad thing.

Not really a malt liquor but a dammed good IPA. Citrusy and bright with the ABV masked tremendously. Some minor malt lingers in the background.

An accomplishment in brewing, I suppose. Hoppy as all getout, bordering on amazing, a bit too boozy/sweet though. Interesting/cool.

Bottle at an RB/BA tasting. Colour.... actually rather similar to urine when you have too much vitamin B! Nose... well..... urine again, and rotten corn. Suffices to say I was unsure about tasting this stuff! Palate... Oh, my! This is a nice surprise after the opener! Delightfully bitter with a hoppy dryness and waves of peach and apricot. On the back of the palate, cut straw and creamed sweet corn come in and then finish off with a sort of malt liquor-like flavour. A decent ending after a rocky start!
