Pours a crystal clear gold. Nose is big on citric hoppiness with a big pineapple smell. Taste is fairly bitter up front, m id has tons of hop flavor, very clean finish.

Draft. Amber beer with a whitish head. Grapefruit and light pine aroma. Nice piney flavor with light grapefruit. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and pine linger.

on tap 8/26/2009 at papago. hazy pour? of golden orange-ish brown with a small white head and sticky spots of lace. what a strange nose... pithy grapefruit, florals, bitter (how can i smell bitter?!), earth, a weird dustiness, spice, herbs and cardamom. the flavor is massively hoppy... herbaceously odd yet delicious!... eucalyptus/earthy menthol, cardamom, tons of spice, citrus and resin with a touch of sweet grain and a bitter finish. crazy hoppy... numbingly so! it has a substantial medium body yet it is so bitter and parching... making it all to easy to order another.9/5/8/4/16/4.2

Tasted on tap at the Bistro 12th Annual IPA Festival on 8/8/09. This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is grapefruity and floral. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are orange and fruity. The hops are grapefruity and citrusy. Good carbonation. Nice balance. A medium bitter IPA. Nice crisp finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Tap @ Live Wire Tonight. Pours yellow with a bright white head. Nose was sweet light Taste is sweet hoppy and lagery interesting tap, but didn’t do it for me tonight, I’m not necessarily saying that this is an issue for the beer, might have been I wasn’t in the right taste bud set to enjoy this style. 7.4.6.3.13

Growler from "the bruery". Pours a mostly clear medium golden yellow with a frothy white head that lest some great lacing. Nose was quite hoppy with notes of citrus, apricots and Pineapple. The nose also really reminded me of Sculpin from Ballast Point. Very crisp bitter finish, great stuff!

Had this and the many hop varieties at the Bruery a few weeks back. Color was an orange/amber. Aroma was great for the style; very IPA-ish. Aroma of grapefruit and citrus; hoppy. Flavor was also good, if not as great as the aroma. Earthy and citrus. One of the best in the style for me.

tap. Hoppy and thin bodied. Still not convinced that this trend towards imperializing a lager with alcohol and hops is the way to go. Bottom line is that the fairly massive hops flavor profile is not supported by the body. There is some graininess as well, but all in all it is not that great.
