Draft at the Bruery. Pours hazy gold with a fizzy off white head. Tastes like hop resin, grapefruit, and toasted malt. Medium body and low carbonation. Smells like hop resin, light grapefruit, and light citrus hops.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Draft. Clear light gold with a big soapy white head. Lots of citrus and tropical fruit throughout in taste and aroma with a little toasted grain as a backbone. Definitely comes across as a lager but with a tremendous amount of flavor. Creamy mouthfeel. Really excellent.

On tap at Hops & Pie. Gold and clear appearance with a white head. Aroma of fresh hops, citrus zest, tropical fruits and light husky, toasty grains. Medium body with a nice smooth feel. Nicely done, an excellent lager and a nice quaffer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the Bruery.
Aroma has a nice, crisp, fairly strong citrus hop character with light tropical fruit and pine resin. Light grain malt notes and clean yeast character.
Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head with decent retention. Medium light lacing and light legs.
Light grain character in the flavor with hints of biscuit and toasted bread. Moderate hop bitterness with moderate hop notes of citrus, pine resin and a touch of wood and floral hop notes. Light alcohol spice and clean yeast.
Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a really nice, hoppy imperial lager. I would prefer fruitier hop notes, especially in the flavor but its really easy drinking.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
On draft. Aroma of hops, then a bit of the more familiar lager. Hmm! Flavor is of a burst of hops, pilsner style, then some juicy wet grass. Finishes sticky. Nice!

4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
"Te description does not really reflect the greatness that was this brew. This is Pliny in lager form plain and simple. But for a slightly lighter feel (and maaaaybe a tiny tiny bit lighter but otherwise identical aroma and flavor) you can just about copy and paste the Pliny reviews over here. Absolutely stunned by this one."

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft pour at the Toronado tasting event. Pours a super cloudy yellow color. Bitter floral hop aroma. Really hoppy lager with a decent bitter finish. This is a good beer for sure, but wouldn’t really call it great. Enjoyed it for sure.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
on tap at black back, waterbury. unclear bright golden pour with a creamy and ffrothy whtie head offering excellent retention and strong lacing. bright citrus, whole cones, herbal-grassy nobleness, gentle pine, weed, very lightly toasted maltiness - specialty, lagering fruitiness surprisingly making its way through the massive fragrant hop bill - peaches, apricots, clementines. average carbonation, light body - oily, surprisingly dry and crisp citrusy-herbal-grassy finish. balanced and very tasty. my first non-BA or perhaps hoppy lower abv brew from the bruery - for the third time, i’m surprised if not flabbergasted. dangerous drinkability.
