Draft @ Naja’s Place, Redondo Beach, CA. Pours a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy citrus aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter peachy grapefruit flavor. Has a fruit malty hoppy bitter grapefruit finish.

On tap at Hops & Pie. Pour is clear orange with a big white head and great lacing. Big hoppy aroma - grassy, weedy, citrus, a touch of cereal, biscuit, grapefruit peel, and lemon. Taste is big hops, biscuit, bready, weed, ganja, grainy, chewy, and orange peel with a bit bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Tastes like an IPA to me, but damn tasty no matter what it is.

Draft at Moriartys. Tulip. Hazy gold pour with a frothy white head. Strong citrus floral hops off the nose. Tastes of orange peels, pine needles, apricot pits, toasted wheat, clove, pepper, and kumquots. Hops are generally in charge here, though it runs through some pilsner flavors as well. Quite sharp.

On tap at Taps in Petaluma. Pours a hazy golden color with a slight head that sticks to the glass. Wonderful fruity aroma. Mild hop flavors and none of the usual harsh flavors of an imperial pilsner. I think this is the first imperial pilsner I've really enjoyed.

Gold, small head. Hoppy smell. Hops, floral, salt, bitter. Slight sticky finish, bitter.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours light amber with a creamy white head. Cat pee aroma. med body. Nice bread/heavy citrus combination. Very tasty.

In tap at The Porter in Atl. Pours clear burnt orange with nice thick white head. Aromas of bright citrus and tropical fruit and some light malt. Flavors of citrus, mango, other tropical fruits and nice dose of bitter hops with clean lager yeast. Beautiful lager. Really an IPA but extremely solid.

Had this on tap at World of Beer, thanks to raveskdr. Poured a clear golden hue, with a small-sized white head. Aroma was herbal hops, citrus, and some sweet malts. Flavor was hoppy notes, sweet malts. Pretty refreshing, solid brew - not too sweet.

UPDATED: MAR 30, 2013 Draft at Sybarite Pig in Boca Rayon, FL. Tulip. Nice light yellow with slight haze. Very white medium thick head with solid lace. Aroma is surprising for a lager. The humulus hops care very citrus and pine smelling. Light yeast bread aroma as well. The taste was very fresh with grapefruit, pine, earth, and slight bitterness. Very good lager...close to an IPA.
