Tap at Proletariat, NYC, 25/11/13. Additional thanks to Puzzl for confirming which beer Iíd had at a later date! Lightly hazed golden amber with a moderate off white head, good lacing ensues. Nose is tarte grapefruit, bitter orange, lemon sherbet, citric dipped straw, light funk. Taste comprises orange pith, grapefruit, toasted malt, tarte orange peel, grassy. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grassy finale. Decent, a little differnt form the Bruery, hopped up pils.

On draft at Tap 25. It pours a golden yellow color with a thick white head. Nice aroma of lemon rind, pilsner malt and hard citrus candy. The flavor is big with lemon rind bitterness and lots of florals. A bit too intense with bitterness in the finish, but otherwise a top notch IPL.

At bruery tasting room. It is an IPL and is really well done. The crispness of the lager allows formerly masked hop flavor and aroma to come forward. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours golden clear orange thin layer of suds. Smells like a field of humulus lupulus on a beautiful sunny cool day, piny, touch of citrus and sweet sugar cane. Tastes light biscuity and green hop floral slight citrusy zesty presence such subtle crisp clean malt finish with hops lingering. This has the hops presence of pliny but the body of a pale. So drinkable and satisfying.

Huge thanks to luisc123 for this in a BIF I won. 64 oz. growler of this long time want served in a Brewery Vivant snifter. A: Pours a solid gold color, slightly hazy, with a big pure white head forming on the pour. It recedes slowly down the glass with excellent retention. Sticky sheets of lace are left down the glass. S: Light hoppy bitterness with a cracker malt profile. The lager yeast is present as well on the backend to remind you itís still a pilsner at heart. T: Just like the nose. Generously hopped with a slghtl bitterness and fruitiness mixing with a sweet cracker malts. The lagery yeast is there again bring a light corny and popcorn flavor with a slight dank hop characteristic as well. M: Light bodied with an insane drinkability. Nicely carbonated with a really smooth and slightly drying finish. O: I really liked this beer a whole lot. Super drinkable with a great balance between the hops and the malt profile. The yeast profile was assertive enough to let you know itís still a pilsner which was great. Serving type: growler 05-27-2013

On tap at Toronado: Aroma had scents of fresh hops and spicy yeast while the beer appeared as a bold gold color topped by a thin layer of film head. The flavor stings of hops and pine plus additional citrus notes. Also, allows for malt in a sweet syrup and sugar profile. Finishes metallic with strong grapefruit and orange like tastes.

UPDATED: JUN 25, 2014 Sampled on draft at the House of 1000 Beers this beer poured a murky apricot color with a medium sized creamy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was very strong sweet peach, apricot, orange and fruit cocktail. The flavor was very strong peach, apricot, pineapple, orange and fruit cocktail. Turns a bit dry and harsh then follows with a long finish of peach, apricot, pineapple and fruit cocktail. Thick and full bodied. Outstanding!

Draft. Yellow pour with white head. Light lager tones. Ginger Randall doesnít really effect flavor, had each in comparison.

Draft at MKE Public Market. Pours light gold with a small white head. Aroma is predominately citrus hops. Flavor is similar, and probably somewhat overbittered, however, I think that is probably the point of the beer. Itís a good version of an IPL.
