Draft. Had this countless times, just rating it. Seems to have gotten worse over the years. The Bruery’s IPA. Pours a golden orange with medium head that retains fairly well. Aroma is pretty spot on for resinous hops, cinnamon, hay and slight citrus. Taste is earthy, dirt, bland, lemon zest, soap. Overall, a nice change of pace from the usual stuff here and I find myself coming back to it but nothing that I really need to wish they bottle anytime soon.

Had this at Brouwerij Lane (I think) with JDadmond after Where The Wild Beers Are. Pours a hazed gold with a thin white head. Musk, sweet funk and chewy wheat. Fuzzy yeast, musk. Spicy musk with a big body full of heavy wheat and moving into a long bitter finish.

Served at the Grog by an incompetent bartender who looked as if he could be Bela Lugosi’s double. Rice flour, hops, and brief citrus were prevalent; lager yeast and its smoothness followed. Pear skins and crushed pine by swallow. I had fun with it.

Tap @ Tap and Handle Fort Collins. $7 for 10 oz. R u jokin or wat? Pours a bit hazy golden appearance with a nice white head. Super fresh hop cone, citrusy, light garlic aroma. Very dry and refreshing, citrusy, incredibly potent hoppy flavor. Fucken a bro. This is some premo shit here. Best lager I’ve had since my visit to Germany last summer.

Growler fill from old e courtesy of some bros. Appearence is hazy gold with medium white fluff head, nice lacing. Aromas of dank and pungent hops, lots of bitter rind and floral pineyness. Taste was pretty sessionable with a good citrus hop bite in the finish. Easy going with a Medium body. Great summer drinker.

An eleven for the aroma. Like biting a fresh hop. Truely the epitome of this new IPL category, the hops are citrusy and floral and linger around just the right amount. The flagship beer of this newish style.

On tap at Blue Dog in Chalfont, PA. This was my first positive Bruery experience after trying the painful 5 Golden Rings. Incredibly hoppy lager, balanced very nicely with the yeast base.

Draft at Jerry’s. Gold with huge, flotsam, white bread / Bright nose of cut pine, weed, citrus / Medium body, very hoppy with bite, good fruit to match, just superb balance with fine bitter finish / Elegant flavors of cut pine, weed, lemon, grapefruit, pineapple / Not like a lager that I’ve ever had, but a terrific pale ale.j

Taking a break from Slutfest ratings to catch up on some Mekong backlog. Told people I had something hoppy from the Bruery, but no one believed me. Gold, nice head. Aroma is massive floral and hay hops. Flavor matches, clean, with enough honey accented grain to hold it all together. Very nice, really loved this one.

On tap half pint at Gilly's Craft Beer & Wine in Rockville, MD. Clear, bright amber with an off-white head and very good lacing. Aroma of orange, pineapple, citrus, bread and tropical fruit. Taste of citrus, orange, pineapple, bread, honey, straw and spice. Medium/light body and medium/high carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
