3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
I thought I have already tried this, but Im finally rating it. Pours a semi cloudy golden color, with an off white head. Citrus, grassy, piney hops, doughy bread, and some sweetness. A simple, drinkable beer. Good thirst quencher.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Had this on tap at World of Beer, thanks to raveskdr. Poured a clear golden hue, with a small-sized white head. Aroma was herbal hops, citrus, and some sweet malts. Flavor was hoppy notes, sweet malts. Pretty refreshing, solid brew - not too sweet.

Tap @ The BeerMongers... Poured vibrant golden/yellow with a thick forming white head. Nice retention and lacing. Nose had big floral and spicy hops. Great mouthfeel, perfect amount if carbonation. Big hop spicing and bitterness and enough malt sweetness to balance it. Bordering an IPA with bitterness and hoppiness, but a clean lager finish made it awesome.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Father’s Office, Santa Monica. Certainly a fairly standard lager pour, albeit a bright, brimful, and healthy one. But a quick snort reveals a pungent hoppy brew that balances pine and dry lager notes nicely in the nose. Lively mouthfeel, clean and dry throughout on the palate. Strong citrus comes through in the taste, and while it’s certainly balanced enough in all the appropriate ways, this grapefruity, spicy brew is proudly and satisfyingly bitter.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Keg @ Mekong. Hazy amber pour with a tiny white head. The nose is full of mango. Pretty bright, mild underarm. Very much the aroma of a ballsy IPA. The taste is of mellow orange sherbet. Toasted white bread. Grassy bitterness on the finish. Medium body, crisp. Pretty tasty stuff.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled on draft at Mekong. Clear straw pour with very ample pillow top white head. Nice clean citrusy hop With not any floral or fruity notes. Its kinda like an american hopped pale pilsner. not Too spicy. Interesting, but I’d rather just have them make sours...

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Huge thanks to Sean for this impossible to get DONG... bright murky gold, light tan head, looks good for a growler... smells great, tons of tropical fruits, grapefruit and pineapple, the finish is a touch of alcohol pines... the taste is mostly hops, loses most of the sweetness, more herbal than anything, with some lemon and pine, really easy to drink

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
First beer since returning from MI/RBSG. Growler fill from t0rin0. Thanks! Pours a chill hazed gold, white head. Nose is straight up west coast. Dank, piney and citrusy, all rolled into one with the malt nowhere to be seen. Nice cattiness, likely some Simcoe in there. On taste, bitter and clean. I don’t know if I necessarily believe it is brewed with a lager strain as some nice fruity esters do come out. Really tastes quite cali ale. Bitter finish. Pretty outstanding stuff.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at the ’09 Bistro IPA Festival in Hayward, CA. India Pale Lager, eh? This beer is a hazy straw color (not pale lager like) with a lasting white head. Aroma is malt/grain and some citrusy hops. Flavor is pale malt and grain with grapefruit and pineapple. Light-medium body. Pretty good overall, as I’ve come to expect from The Bruery.
