Nice hoppy nose with somewhat of a preserved malt base. Despite the lagering, the elements seem to work well in preservation here. Pours gold with ok head and lacing. Finishes with light bitterness and a tough of sugary sweetness. Some booze evident. Tap at Boundary Road.

Huge thanks to Sean for this impossible to get DONG... bright murky gold, light tan head, looks good for a growler... smells great, tons of tropical fruits, grapefruit and pineapple, the finish is a touch of alcohol pines... the taste is mostly hops, loses most of the sweetness, more herbal than anything, with some lemon and pine, really easy to drink

Tap at the í09 Bistro IPA Festival in Hayward, CA. India Pale Lager, eh? This beer is a hazy straw color (not pale lager like) with a lasting white head. Aroma is malt/grain and some citrusy hops. Flavor is pale malt and grain with grapefruit and pineapple. Light-medium body. Pretty good overall, as Iíve come to expect from The Bruery.

Draught. Pours a clear golden color with a moderate white head on it. Nose has some slight corn elements, but has a very pleasant floral hoppiness coming off it. Taste is fairly bitter, yet remains crisp and fresh. Really pleasant beer.

First beer since returning from MI/RBSG. Growler fill from t0rin0. Thanks! Pours a chill hazed gold, white head. Nose is straight up west coast. Dank, piney and citrusy, all rolled into one with the malt nowhere to be seen. Nice cattiness, likely some Simcoe in there. On taste, bitter and clean. I donít know if I necessarily believe it is brewed with a lager strain as some nice fruity esters do come out. Really tastes quite cali ale. Bitter finish. Pretty outstanding stuff.

Tap @ Live Wire Tonight. Pours yellow with a bright white head. Nose was sweet light Taste is sweet hoppy and lagery interesting tap, but didnít do it for me tonight, Iím not necessarily saying that this is an issue for the beer, might have been I wasnít in the right taste bud set to enjoy this style. 7.4.6.3.13

Had this and the many hop varieties at the Bruery a few weeks back. Color was an orange/amber. Aroma was great for the style; very IPA-ish. Aroma of grapefruit and citrus; hoppy. Flavor was also good, if not as great as the aroma. Earthy and citrus. One of the best in the style for me.

Sampled at GABF on 9-18-2010. Comes a cloudy gold with a nice white head. Aroma of hops, citrus and pine. Tastes of citrus and malt. Some bitterness. A bit dry. Enjoyed it.

Taking a break from Slutfest ratings to catch up on some Mekong backlog. Told people I had something hoppy from the Bruery, but no one believed me. Gold, nice head. Aroma is massive floral and hay hops. Flavor matches, clean, with enough honey accented grain to hold it all together. Very nice, really loved this one.
