3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at the Bistro IPA fest. Hazy blond with a lasting head. Resinous grapefruit peel aroma with some sweetness and flowers. Clean and dry with a bitter finish and low fruitiness. Medium bodied and smooth. Good stuff, but not a standout.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
11 mar 2012, tap at The Bruery. Slightly skunky lager aroma with lots of earthy hops. Thin and fizzy. Big hoppy lager with bitter grassy hop finish. I could drink this lager.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours golden amber with a small white head. Aroma brings sweet German hops and a pure crisp wheat maltiness. Flavor is more like a pale ale, bringing some crispa, sweet, and bitter hops.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
In tap at The Porter in Atl. Pours clear burnt orange with nice thick white head. Aromas of bright citrus and tropical fruit and some light malt. Flavors of citrus, mango, other tropical fruits and nice dose of bitter hops with clean lager yeast. Beautiful lager. Really an IPA but extremely solid.

An interesting IPA but the lager part gets burnt by the hops. A good experiment that doesn’t gel.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft. Yellow pour with white head. Light lager tones. Ginger Randall doesn’t really effect flavor, had each in comparison.

Growler shared by drabmuh. Thanks Matt!
A: Slightly hazy yellow hue with a huge white head that leaves a ton of lacing.
S: Really hoppy. Wow. Smells like an IPA.
T: Insanely delicious. Fresh and tasty hops. This beer has greatly exceeded my expectations. This beer is nothing short of phenomenal. It’s remarkably smooth and easy to drink. I could put away endless pints of this until I fell off the bar stool. Seriously, it’s that good.
M: Wonderful aftertaste with long lasting hop flavors.
D: Without question the best imperial pilsner I have ever had. Wow - my highest recommendation.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
On tap at Toronado: Aroma had scents of fresh hops and spicy yeast while the beer appeared as a bold gold color topped by a thin layer of film head. The flavor stings of hops and pine plus additional citrus notes. Also, allows for malt in a sweet syrup and sugar profile. Finishes metallic with strong grapefruit and orange like tastes.
