4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
on tap 8/26/2009 at papago.
hazy pour? of golden orange-ish brown with a small white head and sticky spots of lace.
what a strange nose... pithy grapefruit, florals, bitter (how can i smell bitter?!), earth, a weird dustiness, spice, herbs and cardamom.
the flavor is massively hoppy... herbaceously odd yet delicious!... eucalyptus/earthy menthol, cardamom, tons of spice, citrus and resin with a touch of sweet grain and a bitter finish. crazy hoppy... numbingly so!
it has a substantial medium body yet it is so bitter and parching... making it all to easy to order another.9/5/8/4/16/4.2

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap. Reminds me of hoppy jacks Abby IPA. Some grapefruit. Pleasant fog and green grass. Nice body. A lighter version would be more refreshing. But this was good.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On draft at Tap 25. It pours a golden yellow color with a thick white head. Nice aroma of lemon rind, pilsner malt and hard citrus candy. The flavor is big with lemon rind bitterness and lots of florals. A bit too intense with bitterness in the finish, but otherwise a top notch IPL.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Deep golden color, frothy white head, nice carbonation. Sharp hoppy nose that is fairly herbal with oranges and peaches. The mouth is a bit heavy, full on hop assault, but sufficient enough backbone to balance everything out. Big bad bitter finish. Very aggressive. Hops just linger and linger. Fantastic and really well executed.

Pours a hazy yellow with a medium white head...solid lacing and retention. Aroma has nice grass and light hoppy spice. Flavor has great hoppiness...fresh...grassy and spicy...solid bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium/full and silky with a dry grassy finosh that is fresh and pungent. Very nice.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the Bruery: all 4 version - regular, dry hopped w/ Chinook, dry hopped w/ cascade, dry hopped w/ Centennial. I liked the Centennial the best of the dry hopped versions, but all in all, its a nice brew w/ some good citrus notes.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Growler from "the bruery". Pours a mostly clear medium golden yellow with a frothy white head that lest some great lacing. Nose was quite hoppy with notes of citrus, apricots and Pineapple. The nose also really reminded me of Sculpin from Ballast Point. Very crisp bitter finish, great stuff!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap. Pours clear golden with a large creamy beige head that dissipates slowly with nice lacing. Aroma is light pine, citrus, Passionfruit, guava, musk melon. Flavor follows, light sweet and medium bitter, fruity, tropical, a bit dank. Pretty nice finish with lingering tropical bitterness. Medium body, oily mouthfeel

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at the Bruery. Rating #28. Medium yellow pour with a white head. Aroma was pure hops, like sticking your head into a fresh bag of hop pellets, very powerful. Flavor was big hops as well, very citric and acidic and very enjoyable though. (1292)
