Huge thanks to luisc123 for this in a BIF I won. 64 oz. growler of this long time want served in a Brewery Vivant snifter. A: Pours a solid gold color, slightly hazy, with a big pure white head forming on the pour. It recedes slowly down the glass with excellent retention. Sticky sheets of lace are left down the glass. S: Light hoppy bitterness with a cracker malt profile. The lager yeast is present as well on the backend to remind you it’s still a pilsner at heart. T: Just like the nose. Generously hopped with a slghtl bitterness and fruitiness mixing with a sweet cracker malts. The lagery yeast is there again bring a light corny and popcorn flavor with a slight dank hop characteristic as well. M: Light bodied with an insane drinkability. Nicely carbonated with a really smooth and slightly drying finish. O: I really liked this beer a whole lot. Super drinkable with a great balance between the hops and the malt profile. The yeast profile was assertive enough to let you know it’s still a pilsner which was great. Serving type: growler 05-27-2013

At bruery tasting room. It is an IPL and is really well done. The crispness of the lager allows formerly masked hop flavor and aroma to come forward. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had the three different versions on cask at the Bruery. Cascade Hops, Centennial, and Chinook. Chinook was the most bitter of the three. I think I liked the Centennial version the best as it had more citrus notes in the aroma as well as the taste. I will use my scoring here for the Centennial.

On tap at Hollingsheads Deli. Fantastic beer. Nice floral aroma and the flavor was fantastically refreshing. It was very unique to taste the hops so clearly. I don’t know which hops were used in this version but there was a similar hop flavor shared with the Pliny I had after this Humulus Lager. I would easily buy and drink this again.
