3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 womencantsail (3567) - Home of Rebecca Black, California, USA - OCT 9, 2010
A: A pale golden/yellow color with a mild haze and a thin white head on top.
S: The typical Belgian yeast esters from the Bruery in this one. A bit of spice and bready with just a touch of hops.
T: A sweet and bready flavor initially with a subtle earthy hop bitterness. There is maybe a bit of a tartness to the beer as it warms in the glass.
M: The body is certainly light on the tongue (at least in part due to the rice), with a full carbonation.
D: Not my favorite of the Humulus series beers, but definitely one of the easiest to drink. A really nice, light, spring/summer beer.

Light gold pour at the brewery. White head. Grain, sweetness, fruit, rice, I’m getting a small amount of coconut. Light mouthfeel. I’m not a big fan of this.

Tap at Paradiso Dupont. Pours a clear, bright yellow with a fluffy, poofy, white head that has good retention and lace. Mint and bubblegum in the nose. Taste is sweet, full of mint, licorice, sage. A little weird. Sticky palate. Was heavily disliked by a few people.

Sampled on tap at the Brewery (or is it the Bruery?) on 7/9/2010. This beer pours a lightly yellow gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, coconut, herbal and spicy. A light to medium bodied specialty grain beer. The malts are fruity and grainy. A touch of coconut, some herbal grains and a hint of rice ( but in a good way). Nice carbonation. Light and crisp. Good balance. A touch of citrusy fruitiness at the finish. Nice summer beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Tap at the Bruery. Rating #16. Another light colored drinker with a nice little white head. Aroma was light grains, mild hops. Flavor was much the same, not quite as good as the Filthy Blonde, but another nice little drinker. (1287)
