COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Humulus Sterling is a variation on our always popular Humulus Lager. Essentially a very similar beer, but brewed with a 100% Sterling hop bill from the boil to dry-hopping. A relatively new variety, Sterling hops are primarily a blend of the earthy & spicy Saaz with the citrusy & pine-like Cascade hop, providing characteristics of both a Bohemian lager and an American Pale Ale. Perfect for an Imperial Pale Lager.

I had this on tap at the Bruery. This yellow pour had a nice citrus flavor with a clean finish

4 nov 2012, tap at the Bruery. Light yellow, clear, no bubbles. Nose is light lemon and slightly skunky. Thin body and slightly fizzy. Faintly lemony and skunky. Not that nice. Kind if farmhouse ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at the Bruery. Bright clear yellow, with white head. Citrus, light flowery hops, light bitterness, biscuity malt, and some peppery hops. Easy drinking, Humulus Wet was better.

Tap at Of Love & Regret. Pours clear straw. Medium white foam. Soapy lemon nose. Taste has some very thick almost bourbon barrel character. Richer body, mild bitterness, oatmeal malty. Thick sheets of lace. Small DMS creamed corn character in taste. Small freezer vegetables in nose. Nothing offensive. Sharp lemon zest and grassy bitterness. Good stuff. Hints of lemon verbana in the nose. Carbonation is sharp. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thin quickly disappearing head. Clear golden see thru. Piney hoppy nose. Light airy flavor. Refreshing. Fast finish. Pretty good basic beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I had this the same day as White Chocolate and was really impressed. Pours an orange color with a healthy jasmine accented aroma. The taste isnt particularly bitter but a little tannic tasting. Like a jasmine tea was added to a plain lager. I really enjoyed this and could drink a lot.

On tap at The Bruery. Pours cloudy light orange. Thin off-white head. Almost no aroma. Almost no flavor. Reminds me of Bud Light. Shit....

Tap at The Bruery. Yellow pour with white head. Floral and citrus hop aroma. Flavors of citrus, lemon zest and slight pine hops. Sweet malty bread come through nicely.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a white head. Interesting blend of floral and citrus peel hoppiness. Biscuit malt sweetness, lemon peel, and a light spiciness. Some cracker notes as it warms. The flavor is lightly sweet with good biscuit and cracker malt favors. A soft hop bitterness, solid floral hop character, and moderate citrus character. Just a touch of spicy hop flavor and a subtle perfume quality.
