Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of thgr81_us. Pours a cloudy amber with a small off-white head. Dry and tart aroma, red wine and sour red berries. Medium body, heavy minerals, balsamico, red wine, quite some bitterness and a dry and somewhat astringent finish. Very interesting - and very good. 150313

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ml bottle generously shared by colonelforbin. Thanks Mike. Pours a dark brown with a small white head that disappears fairly quickly and leaves some light lacing on the glass. The aroma is caramel malt, some light brett, a bit of vinegar, some oak, and a light bourbon note. The taste has a light initial sweetness with a decent tartness. There is caramel, some raisin, a bit of vinegar, and some oak. A hint of alcohol with a decent tartness on the finish. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Not bad, but not all that much different from Marron Acidifie.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared by craytonic. Thanks Matt!
The beer is slightly hazy and appears orange to red in color. The aroma offers a strong lactic and acetic presence with some mildly sweet fruit. Smells like a fruity Flanders ale. The flavor is sour and funky, with some lingering notes of cherries. Moderate carbonation with a funky acetic finish. The feel is a bit rough. A good beer, but not great, I would have this again.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Actually a fair bit worse than Marron Acidifie by my accounting, with a kind of weird fruity sweetness that takes away from the really solid Oude Bruin elements that the base beer has going. Tried on multiple occasions, both at CCB and from a bottle at Tower of Power Sour Hour 3: Sour with a Vengeance.

75cl, new exclusive American collab. brew Anno 2011, with guava and dates, thx to Secret Santa!, complex sour brew, sour/vinous and slightly woody/fruity, not too heavy, balanced, cloudy, nearly no head, good brew, yet very expensive!

Bottle (750 ml)! Thanks to jp7161! Hazy light brown with a small off-white head and some lacing. Aroma of red fruits (raspberries?), red wine and acidic sourness. Taste is acidic with malt, red fruits, red wine, wood, dates, spices and peppery notes. Mouthfeel is dry. Alcohol is present. Pleasant sour and fun to drink because it’s quite complex.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured into my bruery tulip. Pours a hazy amber brown with decent carbonation and a paper thin head. Aroma is of oak, tropica fruits and red wine. Taste follows the nose, sweet and sour tastes, acidic but not too much, the oak is there but not in your face. I tried this at the 100 bottle release from ccb and the fruit was more present then. This has aged into a sweeter marron acidife Which isn’t a bad thing by any means just different from the fresh. Mouth feel is smooth despite the pucker and acidity. Overall this is one amazing sour that I am glad I kept for myself. I would be the first in line if this was ever released again.
