COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A special collaboration between The Bruery and Cigar City Brewing, fruits grown in our home states were added to Marron Acidifie, enhancing the coastal flavors.

Rating number 2,500. Thanks to GregSVT for sharing this bottle at the Flying Saucer Beer Tasting. The beer pours a hazy orange color with a white head. The aroma is full of dark fruit, with a lot of cherries, cranberries and blackberries. I also get a nice dose of brown sugar and some light tartness. The flavor is also very nice. I get a lot of tart cherries and other dark fruit, as well as some nice oaked notes. I get a little bit of toffee as well as some light sweetness and brown sugar notes. The sweet and sour components go very well together. The mouthfeel is relatively thin and the carbonation is pretty low. A very nice sour beer.

Bottle. Pleased to see this. Pours a murky reddish brown color. Light ring of head. Aroma is tart, sour, funky and maybe light cherries. Flavor is acidic, tart, sour, some sour cherries. Whoa!

(750ml bottle thanks to GregSVT) cloudy orange with creamy fine tan head. Nose of currant, cranberry, wet wood and earth. Taste of tart berry, currant, blackberry, wet wood and earth. Nice linger, tart, and wet wood stay on the palate.

Bottle that I took to Andy’s for Paul’s birthday and Joey’s going away (and hopefully coming back at some point) tasting. Pours a hazed ruby and copper amber with a slight white head. Mango, papaya, and sweet fruit, acid and wood. Apparently I should be smelling and tasting dates here as well. Don’t really get that. Woody, soft acid, wood and fruit. Lightly acidic, fruit and wood. Lingering acid, woody, acid. Tasty.

Bottle: The aroma consists of leather, mild cherry, and a touch of caramel. It pours a hazy brownish-orange with a small beige head. The flavor starts with sour cherries and a touch of caramel. The finish has a touch of lemon and faint acetone. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Phone rate. 750mL, thanks Jay. Hazy brown small beige, down to a ring. Some acetic notes, not terribly fruity. A little leathery, earthy old wood and mod bitterness in the finish, some ETOH heat. Sourness 4. Med full body, light carbonation. OK.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2011 I am rating this shit because it is fucken rare. Shared by Merv. Smells like plum, soft cheese. Some acetone in the flavor, a touch of malt sweetness, sherry, fresh chopped wood. Medium sourness. Not too much going on. Fucken hell.

Pours hazy copper with a tiny white head. The aroma has tartness riding over the top of apricots, red apples, earthy wood like notes and some acidity. The taste delivers up tartness and then moves toward thick sourness and then soured citrus. Behind those notes is a persistent acidity. Too acidic for me.

Believe this was shared by dcschiller @ Dak’s Cantillon Tasting...if so, thanks Dave!!! Bright copper/crimson colored hue with a small eggshell head that left a spot of lacing. Literally, a spot. Both nose and flavor show tons of balsamic vinegar, dark fruit, caramel, toffee, brown sugar, tart cherry skins, and oak. Medium mouthfeel with a solid amount of carbonation.
