3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Thanks to Redlight for cracking this bottle (or, i should say, gushing as it spewed all over the place). Pours a deep brown and really chunky. Very floral hop aroma, lots of tart sour fruit in the aroma. Taste is smooth malt, slightly tart, fruity guava and a tart of oak. Finishes with a touch of tartness.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
750 ml gusher. Tart fruit on the nose, guava, and oak. Pours very muddy with fruit solids in the glass, pours an amber red. Nice tartness upfront with the dates blending nicely with the oak the guave and funky tartness working great. Pours ugly but tastes great!

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours deep brown with ruby hints. Nose is sweet fruits, raisin, lactic acid, sour fruits, cherries, fruit skins, hints of cocoa and caramel. Flavor is sharp acid melded with sour fruits. Nice subtle raisin and tropical fruit notes. Beer was chunky with fruit parts (i’m guessing). All around a fruitier version of Marron Acidifie. The sweetness cuts down the acid a bit. At first I thought Marron was better, but after trying it again at the CCB/Bruery party I changed my mine. This is a more balanced beer with the sweet guava/dates.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Rating 4800. Pours with a completely clear (first few pours) deep copper to burgundy body with a lasting tan head. Great lace. Aromas are huge and sour. Red wine is predominant. Pedio, dates, lacto, dark fruits, alcohol, vanilla and barrel abound. Flavors are huge! Dark fruits, dates, sour, rich, red wine, acidic, lacto, a hint of guava on the finish. Big, rich, delicious, raisins, barrel, vinous, vanilla and sour. Medium to lively bubbles, rich, sour and decadent. Really nice to drink. A pleasant sour: complex, layered, tasty!
