Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, berry, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, orange - citrus, wood - vanilla - oak. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long to average duration, dry, thin, light salty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to lively. [20110325]

Bottled. An unclear golden brown beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops, vanilla, and herbs. The flavor is very sweet with notes of herbs, yeast, vanilla, and citrusy hops, leading to a bitter and woody finish.
