3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
2010 bottle. Pours black, thin white head, little lacing. Rich nose of caramel vanilla, brandy dark chocolate, coffee grounds, noticeable alcohol. Taste is sweet, bourbon chocolate sauce, syrupy caramel, alcohol and vanilla toffee in the finish. Palate is thick and chewy. Overall rich and decadent, but more like a liqueur to me, definitely something to take your time with, or it quickly becomes overpowering with sweetness and booze. This was the third bottle Iíve had since the first release, doesnít seem to be improving much with age at this point.

Full bodied. Nice sipping beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Sample at Bruery Provisions. Pours a cloudy dark brown color with a thin tan head that dissipates steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla and malt. Rich and chewy body with a dark malty aroma and touches of chocolate and oak. The finish is smooth and malty with a lingering bourbon aftertaste. Good concoction overall.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is a big boozer. Way too sweet for me. Followed by a big ABV taste that I donít cotton too. Pours a dusky brown with a big barrel aroma to it.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
(750ml bottle from Provisions store). Pours a dark brown-almost like root beer-with a tan head that dissipates into a small ring. Aroma is bourbon, vanilla, coconut, wood, caramel, and some figs. Taste is quite sweet, but after only a couple sips I still want more. Its almost like drinking a rich soda with the carbonation. Full bodied with an oily texture. Smooth finish with some fizziness from the carbonation. Very, very enjoyable.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
THE BEST beer I have had in a while. Dark nutmeg pour. Mose is sweet bourbon vanilla. Taste is similar. Sweet, quaffable, amf luxurious. Delicious blend of malt, bourbon soaked oak, and hop balance to hold it all together. Full bodied and great. I think Bruery beers are overrated but thisnone is for real.
