draft. Pours amber orange with an off white head. Woody and toasty aroma with a light sweetness. The flavor has light woody/oaky notes, some brandy like sweetness, toast, and light floral notes. Not bad, but unfocused.

The beer pours a medium cloudy tea with a redish hue to it. The head is tan with ok retention but poor lacing.
The aroma is sweet with a definite floral note to it, can’t detect any of the cocoa.
The taste is really weird its floral but bitter and sweet at the the same time.
This beer just looks weird, smells weird and taste even weird. Sometimes innovation is cool, sometimes its being innovative to be innovative.

On tap at the Bruery. A lot going on in this. Nice hops blending with some sweet malt. Leaves an interesting finish. Good

Growler. Thanks, D4Satan. Lyn liked it, so they must be doing something right here. Murky pink color with a lasting frothy off-white head. Very complex aroma of coconut, cherry, oak, chocolate, banana, bourbon, and light fusels. Sweet and malty up front with a tart cherry component and a touch of chocolate. lots of spicy alcohol through the finish, and gets pretty drying, though some sugar remains. Relatively full bodied with higher carbonation. Overall just a little too harsh in the finish with the alcohol. This could easily be 12-13% just going by flavor.

RBWG 2010 and EBF 2010. Pours a amber pinkish with a fizzy light pink head. Aroma is rose petal, hibiscus, herbal and floral with slight waxy and spicy hint beat sugar earthy sweetness, plastic phenols and belgian spicy yeast. Flavor is earthy, plastic, nutty chocolate, some woody oakiness, light vanilla, sweet beet sugar, thinness in the end- slight salty earthy hint with more belgian yeast and more plastic and wax in the end. Ok.

(hand-bottled from BMan1113VR, sampled 3/7/10). Cloudy rose/copper color. Large off white/light pink, fizzy head. Aroma of sweet dark fruit, light pepper, and alcohol. Moderate pepper flavor with light sweetness. Avg duration. Moderate alcohol finish. Slick texture. Soft to moderate carbonation. Fair lacing.

Sampled on tap at the Brewery (or is it the Bruery?) on 7/9/2010. This spiced beer pours a orange cheery amber color from the tap. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, roses and sweet with a touch of cocoa. A medium bodied spiced beer. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Hides the alcohol very well. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.

A decent offering, well worth the money and i’d possibly get it again. Just didn’t knock my socks off. Pretty bland compared to the other bruery beers drank at the churchills fest.

Growler. Ruby red color. Aroma is nice and fruity with sourness and a touch of funk. Some rich cherry sourness. Flavor is slightly sour with a bit more sweetness and fruit. Lively body coming from the growler. Thick and full body. Pretty good.

Tap at 2nd Anniversary party. Pours pink. Nose is sweet with beets. Taste is sweet, and a bit too strange for my liking.
