Commercial Description:
Mischief is a Belgian Golden Strong Ale brewed with wheat. It’s a bit hoppier than usual for the style, but should remain crisp and fruity with a light golden color. Mischief weighs in at 8.5% abv and around 35 IBUs.

On tap wet hopped. Pours with a clear sparkling golden body with great lace. Aroma is dry with coriander and light citrus, candi sugar and bready. Taste is spicy and decently dry with light lemons and clove phenols. Dry mouthfeel with tingling carbonation.

On tap at the Bruery. Poured a clear golden/yellow color. Aroma of crisp malt (wheat) and yeast with a bit of light tartness. Some spice. Flavor was the same; quite crisp with a bit more citrus/fruit and spice notes. Just ok by their standards.

On tap at the Bruery. Clear yellow with a white head, nice rounded palate, slightly sweet. I voted for this over Mischief 2

On tap at The Bruery. Mostly clear golden-yellow color with a medium-sized white head and great lacing. Aroma is pale malt, wheat, citrusy hops, and some slight oxidative notes. Flavor is wheaty and a little sweet with pale malt and grains as well as mild oxidation and fresh citrusy hops. This is almost like a wheat IPA and I can’t believe it weighs in at 8.5%. Drinkability is dangerously high. Belgian Strong Ale seems like an odd category for this, but I guess even The Bruery describes it as such. Palate is medium-light and refreshing with soft carbonation.

Tap at the brewery. Rating #11. Golden pour with a thin white head. Aroma was light fruit and some hops. Flavor was light, a bit malty, more citrus notes, not bad. (1024)

On tap at The Bruery. Pours a clear golden color with a white film. Aroma is soft citrus, some spice and a nice mild biscuit maltiness. Flavor has citrus and some other under ripe fruits a touch of spice and yeast, and a somewhat dry finish. Light to medium bodied and spritzy. This is the better of the 2 Mischiefs.
