Bottle. Pours blonde with a thick white head that takes a bit to settle. Aroma of pineapple, citrus. Beer has a little spice to it and just a little bit of funk. Well done.

75cl, at 8.5%Vol, new exclusive American brew Anno 2011, with Brettanomyces, thx to Secret Santa!, complex brew, spicy/bitter and slightly sour/fruity, balanced, cloudy, rocky head, good brew, yet very expensive!

Bottle courtesy of RS membership. Served in a Bruery tulip. Pours a mostly-clear apricot color with a huge fluffy white head and quite a bit of lacing. Great retention. The nose brings forward some nice stone fruits and a bit of straw. Also there is a good amount of earthy funk. Very nice. Flavor adds in a bit of alcohol, but otherwise nice funk. Light body and very dry. Slight booze. Overall, I am very pleasantly surprised by this one.

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2012 Clear yellow pour with a fizzy white head. Aroma is an off-sweetness with oak, perfumey clove, and an artificially sweet malt backbone. Taste is disjointed, some cardboardy sweetness, odd degraded malt, and perhaps some minimal brett. Mouthfeel is light and messy - no precision. I cannot even finish this beer.

Bottle... Poured a pale, golden straw color with a white head. Good carbonation to much all the yeast spice and funk. Noticeable hop flavors with balancing malts. Light fruits, citrus/lemon. hard candied sweetness with some tartness and musky funk.

Bottle thanks to a generous California trader. Pours a cloudy orangish gold with a fluffy white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a good amount of funk with light grains light fruit and a hint of flora. Flavor has lots of funk with backing bread and hints of light fruit and flora.

My last review of 2011! WooHoo! Cloudy orange, HUGE - seriously, HUGE - white head. Smells like honey, sage and other herbs, and fresh bread. There is a significant amount of funk in there, too. Man, his stuff hits the spot. Lightly sweet cherry, toast, herbs, funk and a lightly woody, oaky finish. As it warms, a lot of banana and bubblegum comes out. Very tasty. Thanks to grownfool for this one!

750ml bottle. Pours a bright clear golden yellow with a massive fluffy white head that recedes a bit but leaves a hefty clump of foam in the middle fed by bubbles from the bottom. The aroma starts with some juicy citrus with oranges and tangerines. There is a hefty Belgian yeast character as well with some light spiciness. The Brett is present but subtle. The taste has a bit more brett than the aroma, especially in the finish where there is a lingering funk. The Belgian yeast is prominent with some spices and fruity esters. The fruit is also present in the finish with a citrus bitterness. The mouthfeel is highly carbonation, almost effervescent, and extremely active on the tongue. This is an interesting iteration on Mischief but the brett really doesn’t add much for me and I actually prefer the base beer to this one.
